The best High Voltage 901 atty for 7.4v vaping...

So I got a couple HV 901 Atty's from VaporKings, and well, being my first time with high voltage I must have done something wrong because I fried those two attys in just under 10 minutes. I think I let them get dry accidently.

Plus they're rated 4.4~4.6 Ohms, and I'm thinking for 7.4 I should try and find some 5 Ohm or greater attys

So I'm looking for some vendor recommendations on where I can get the best HV 901 attys for a good price, since I'm still trying to figure out this high voltage deal.

I found some on ikenvape, 5.2 ohms @ $7.99, but alas they're out of stock

Not sure if it matters but batteries fresh off a charger run at 8.4 volts for a short time before dropping back to 7.4 just saying if your using them like that.

that's a good tip, i had no idea.. how long should i let them cool down? I'm using 2xTR123A 880mAh 3.7V batteries

well they wont drop off them self usually you would need to put a load on them somehow without burning up a atty.

weird, so find some way to discharge them a little prior to hookin it up to an atty. Radio shack?
