I have about 15 cartomizors that need cleaning... I bought a few flavors that I truly dislike and cannot get the aftertaste from them no matter how much I try to empty them out. I also have a couple with a slight burnt taste Anyway, I tried this guy's method and the results were pretty awful. The cardos SMELL like this alcohol stuff even after fully dried and when I tried to add juice, it immediately gave a burnt taste. Is boiling the best method? I had some strong chai flavored juice and I boiled 6 times and couldn't get that taste or smell out!

I haven't boiled yet but will when the time comes. I also think if you modified a "flush" system after boiling that would help tremendously. Using a turkey baster with a small clear tube (from hardware store) fitted over a blank cart, inserted in the top of the cartomizer (with the cap removed of course) seems logical to me. I'm going to try that and will post the results. Juices being water based, it stands to reason the cartos could be cleaned. As far as how effective the elimination of flavoring is, that is to be determined but am thinking if one could keep same likeness types in flavor (like fruits, tobaccos, etc.), the success rate may be worth the trouble.

Although I waited much longer than the video suggested (almost an hour to dry), the first cardo resulted in a horrid burnt taste. I'll boil it or re-clean it again with alcohol..... I don't think it was fully dry. The second, while still having a slight alcohol smell, is now working with a new juice I made after waiting longer for the cardo to dry. My juice-making skills aren't all that great yet either.... I've only made 3 and none of my flavors have made me 100% happy. I made a honey flavor this morning that's just so-so.... I use a juice-making calculator but being TERRIBLE at math it confuses me at times and I think I get my ratios off.
