"The Biden administration is rolling out a new coordinated strategy it hopes will slow the menacing rise in drug overdose deaths.
According to the latest preliminary data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, roughly 100,000 people in the U.S. died from overdoses over a 12-month period, a massive surge from a year earlier....."

And in this same period how many have died from vaping? Or, even directly from the drug nicotine? Few if any.

Sure nicotine is recognized as an addictive substance - And maybe that is a reason not to become addicted to it and to warn the public accordingly.

But many people have many so-called bad habits - maybe its in the psychology of some people to have a habit to cling on to? - But while many of the drug habits often have lethal consequences - vaping is apparently much safer and far less likely to cause harm.

So while they keep directing wasted energy on tobacco and now vaping, would it not be better I ask for them to be focusing on lethal drug addictions and leave safer and much more benign habits like vaping alone?

I believe the answer is NONE. There hasn't been one documented case of a death or injury from vaping that did not involve illegal additives or improperly used equipment.

BTW, did the FDA approve opoids? Ahhh, yes, they did.

Let's face facts: The government can't find its :censored: with both hands, a mirror, and a map.

The crack down on opioids is only making it 10 times harder and exponentially more expensive for the people who do really need it. It does almost nothing for people who are doing it illegally.
So hard they are giving up on extremely expensive legal methods and just simply switching to ....... And they dying from that instead. If that was their (BIG GOBMENT) intent, it has been a great success so far. :-x

In the end, they're screwed either way. But if you have a health condition that justifies it, it can be the lesser of two evils.

At least with vaping we can still get what we need, albeit while now paying obscene taxes for it.

So glad to be stocked up and not have to worry about it. I really feel for those who would really like to switch at this point.
