As of this coming Sunday we're leaving on a 5000km road/camping trip to the Aussie outback.
When I say remote, I mean complete nothingness remote.
It will be the first time that dh and I will be vaping on such a trip.
Not only is the car our ultimate lifeline anyway, but geez......the new second battery we just put in better do it's job. It'll be working hard charging all the video camera batteries, fridge, as well as our PV batteries!
Though we love these trips they are always inevitably stressful so I reckon we'll both be adding to the dust clouds with our vaping clouds out there.
I wonder whether the fog will keep the flies away?
Think I'll wear mine around my neck at all times for safekeeping.
I have enough hissy fits losing my PV at home but out there it would be disastrous!
This will be fun!

""the dingo stole my PV!"!!"
I'm a songwriter and that would make for a darn good song if it weren't such a terrifying thought.
They steal your thongs ya know. (the flip flop kind you wear on your feet.)
Maybe I'll take the metal detector. Dh's bloody great big grip thingy is not such an issue but my little ego would get buried in sand quick smart.

No they're not are they.
Next time I'll tell hubby to take me somewhere where I can sit pool side sipping a cocktail with a little umbrella in it and puff gentle clouds of vapour into a tropical sunset.
Ahh, that would be the life!

The Barrier Reef! Yeah, it's palm trees and tropical beach for me too. The tides are very relaxing, scientifically proven. A pen pal of mine in Adelaide says it's very nice. If hubby wants to "rough" it with the raiser backs, he can go alone, but don't mention where you got the idea.

Ah yes Justaguy. The barrier reef WOULD be nice and we'll get there one day, but I tell a lie... I really DO love the outback :)
There's just something about it. The quirky little towns, the oddball characters out there...even the nothingness, the quiet and the ancient-ness of the landscape.
I tell people all the time that it's like the earth is alive out there and that you sometimes feel "observed" even when you KNOW you are totally alone.
I can't explain it, but we are drawn to travel through it whenever we get a chance.
Sometimes looking up at that sea of stars in the sky at night you feel so very small in the whole scheme of things.
Ahhh....now I'm getting all poetic here, lol!
Back to my packing!

Insist on a cruise, that way unless you drop it overboard your PV is never truly lost.....I know its on the ship somewhere....
