Do you know how to get rid of some of the crap like 'mood' and 'social group" under my name? Feel free to <s>PM</s> err conversate me?

Honestly - No NEED to have a "Private Conversation", since this affects everyone . . .

Well - As far as I know, especially since there are a lot of people asking for more "Stuff" to be added . . .


EDIT: Re-read "Your" post, as for "Social Groups" thing that is somewhere under "Your" Profile Setting and Ya' may or may not be able to get rid of that one . . . Not Sure . . .

2nd EDIT: I think I found where Go To > Profile Page > Personal Details > Primary Social Forum > unclick the boxes there . . . Also make sure to remove anything in the drop down menu for "Primary Social Forum" too . . . Hope that helps . . .

Yea - I did the same thing with all the major information I was willing to share here, but with the direct availability that other people have and can connect with "Social Media", including taking credit for "My" Wordage, etc. I deleted the content in all of the "Blogs" I had . . . NOT NICE ! ! !

BTW:

I found a "FIX" for showing "My" MOOD . . .

Seems that I can not add to what Uncs explained already about the social groups, but as far as moods go, it appears we are stuck with them via this software. So ya either got a mood, or you have no mood, but mood seems that it shall stay.

Therein lies my issue. I tried removing myself from the three 'social forums' I was in, and now those sections are not where you say they are (or anywhere else) - AND, you cannot 'join' any groups now, only 'watch' or 'ignore'.

So even though I am no longer in that forum (or any social forums) I am stuck with that dumb box.

Therein lies my issue. I tried removing myself from the three 'social forums' I was in, and now those sections are not where you say they are (or anywhere else) - AND, you cannot 'join' any groups now, only 'watch' or 'ignore'.

So even though I am no longer in that forum (or any social forums) I am stuck with that dumb box.

"You" may have tried, but No "You're" NOT STUCK w/ That Dumb Box . . . AND - After just a little trial and error, I found that it can absolutely be removed . . . Just Sayin' . . .

@Peter_C & Anyone else interested in getting rid of the little box with the ECF Grey Shadow that relates to a "Social Group" which "You" join previously in the Old ECF below their Avatar . . . The Box itself is added or removed in "Your' Profile Page "Personal Details - Just look under "My" Avatar - I added the "Florida Vapers Club" (which I will also remove later ) . . .

Instructions:
1) Go To "Your" Profile Page - Hopefully, it will already show Ya' "Personal Details" . . . If Not - Look on the Left side of Page - Scroll down to "Personal Details" and click on that line . . .
2) Once there - look at the page and Go to the 3rd section down the page where "You" see the line "PRIMARY SOCIAL FORUM" . . .
Now is there any "Social Group" list in the box there - It seems that is why "You" have that Shadow Box under "Your" Avatar . . .
3) Either way it really doesn't matter . . . Click on Box/Arrow and a drop down menu will appear - Now go to the "Blank" area & click - Close Box and make sure there is "NOTHING" in that line (blank). . .
5) Finally - Scroll Down the Page and at the bottom "You" will see "Save Changes" - "Push "Button" . . .

"You're" DONE - Easy Peasy ! ! !

AND - If Ya' Still see it there . . .

Then RInse - Repeat and Try - Try Again . . .

It Will Go Away . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Jup that has been brought up by several to perhaps just have a supporting member banner for this very reason! But I don't see anything under your avi cept the word "who?" Did you follow Uncle's steps to get rid of whatever it was before I saw this?

Now if I could figure out how to get that white border off my avatar I would be just fine but what the hey. You can't have everything and I'm happy being able to post again.

You can always use Tapatalk for android I know the Apple version you can put it in night mode which is a dark mode and it makes it look great. Very easy to read and you can use larger fonts.

NOW - After doing a little more research and looking around for a possible answer to address what "You" did and are seeing now . . . I cannot find anything to fix this issue at the moment . . . SO - Given what "You" said that you're seeing on "Your" Profile Personal Details page, there is only 2 things I can think of doing . . . 1) Wait to see if it will eventually go away since "You" say that Ya' no longer belong to any "Social Group" (BTW: The Icon still refers to "Billet Box") . . . Or 2) Reach out to a Moderator (hopefully one that can do something about this) and ask them if it is possible to have removed . . . Just Sayin' . . .
