Absolutely.. If they are not firing then you have a short somewhere,,

Keep at it, the Uno is a fantastic vape!

I'll probably wrap another coil later. I'll try and snap some photos of my build for you if you think that will help.

I don't get it, I just took a few wraps off one to see if I was getting my OHM's to high, nothing. I almost think the positive pin I got is plastic, there is no short, I am building these under a magnifying glass. I put a tank in with a bridge in it, and the BB works fine. I just can't figure out why it wont work. I can say this if this, if this is what I will have to deal with each time, I will not be getting any more of these.

The UNO is really testing my patience, and my ability to build coils, the only wire I have or have ever used is 30 Ga and up. I have built 6 coils for this thing, and every single one of them will not fire. I have no way to test the OHMs on this thing because of its design. I am starting to get a bit ticked off with this thing!:-x

Someone needs to make an ohm meter or adapter specially for these. Either that or make them differently so a regular ohm meter can be used!

And another minor bummer is you can't dry burn the coil to get the junk off when changing the cotton. When I use to build all the time I'd remove the cotton and keep the atty attached to the mod then fire till it glowed and dip in a cup of water..

Made getting the junk off the coil easy. I can't see any way to dry burn the coil in the Uno..

Everything before the UNO that I have used in the BB, could be used in something else. that was how I was checking my OHM's, just put it in another base and check it on a Provari. With this you can't do that, that is also how I would dry burn coils. I guess I am going to go ahead and get me a good Multimeter with probes to check the ohms on this, it should make it easier to get the OHM's where I want them also. I am looking at a Flukes 115, kind of expensive but should serve all the needs, I would ever need.

I got something like this a few years ago for my small vape ohm meter box. Works well enough so if you already have one of those little black ohm boxes this might work.

Screws into the 510 adapter of the ohm box..

That is a neat idea. I have never seen those before.

The only thing I have is a analog multi meter I bought about 6 months ago, it is a piece of junk. If I use it to check the OHM's on something that I know the OHM"s on, it is no where even close. I think I paid about $15.00 for it so no big deal, I just need to get a good one and be done with it. There are a lot of other things I can use it for also. :)

Here is mine.. I can't remember the vendor I got it from though..

Might be an option to consider. Those small black ohm boxes are $20 and the lead thingie is like $10 so $30 total and you should be set..

Congrats to all that were able to get one. Sorry @DPLongo22 you weren't able to grab the Kurbis. When I'm able to get mine it would be the Rat Black with Green/Black or Blue/Black G10 panels.

I'm actually kinda happy about it, Bush - and thank you very much! I've been salivating over my son's, and over Kat's, and over F2V's. and-and-and...

So I'm looking forward to the blackout BB. I've still got L'Orange I, and it's not going anywhere. :)

Well with all the installing uninstalling of the coils on my UNO the silicone insulator is now destroyed. it was working then just suddenly stopped working, the pin was shorting out against the body, because the insulator ripped. there is no way for me to order any replacements or to e-mail OHMAN. Even if I was able to get a new insulator, I would not recommend this to anyone else, with the experience that I have had, he should have made the insulator out of a more durable material that silicone.:2c:

I am glad I didn't order a bunch of these.

I know you are probably over it but do you have anything else that has an insulator that will fit.
