Does anyone know if the Nautilus coils will just slide in the tank hole without having to fiddle with the tank glass?

If so I might haz to snag one...

I'm afraid you'll have to fiddle it (just a little bit)... :blink:

No they won't. There is a lip that will need to sit on the inside of the tank. Same as the kanger coils

I took a dish washing glove and cut a finger off so I can use it to lower the glass. It allows me to have friction without having to push on the glass. Works like a charm.
Wasn't that painful (and unnecessary)? :confused:

Hubby works with wood so we put panels on them and we fully restored a polished aluminium. I play with the other finishes shimmer or metal sheets and other fabric finishes, they are just for personal use. He also makes matching driptips and buttons.

The one in the left is the restored one which was in really bad shape when we started.



I put the other pics in my blog.
Beautiful work!
