The coils are Aspire non nautilus BVC coils and can be bought almost everywhere. I prefer the older coils that had the smaller holes (before they went to organic cotton) but again if you are using high VG then the large holes are ok.Thank you! What are the prebuilt coils? Do you purchase them from someplace?

The standard billet bridge is what makes them work in the Billet Box.
I saved every old coil for a year![]()
Sorry. My brain is in auto.
I have old aspire BVC coils. I tear them down and rebuild them using prewicked NR-R- coils from Fasttech. I remove the silica wicks and then replace with rayon.
Either these

To you rev.4 and anodised rev3 owners, I lovedmy BB's and really miss them but they just didn't suit my vaping style anymore, the rev 4 changes that and I'm bagging one asap. My question, I always had the naked version, bare aluminium/ brass. Scratch it, no stress you could just give it a polish, now how do these anodised ones hold up to wear & tear?
Also I am a boring git so it has to be either black or silver (with Pearl or maybe abalone button if it appears) please help me decide, I'm going round in circles!
I'm thinking the clear/silver may be more durable or at least not show marks as easily and has the classic BB look going on, where as the black is just a real beauty and any covers are going to look good on that!
Doh.![]()
I've grown quite fond of the BVC (Shut it DP! You're still in the fake dog house over that Zen comment!)...
I keed, I keed.
It's in motion, just by the way. On its way east, soon to be sent back west again. It can't wait to meet ya, XX.![]()
BVCs in da Bridge Fan Club.![]()
Every time I think of trying one of the new thingies, I take a hit. The immediate next thought is ALWAYS, "Why...?"
I am happy.
It's ok, I try them so you don't have to.........and then go back to BVC coils![]()

And, precisely (just by the way).
I love my Nauti coils, and a lot of the RBA stuff that I use. But the BVC vape is ALSO loved, and resides mainly in my BBs these days. To give that up, I cannot.
My trying other bridges/coils, was all about a slight (read a huge) panic about my limited supply of old BVC coils but now it's all ok and I have A LOT of them hehe
Cheers bud, I appreciate the detailed answerHey Stan - I don't THINK anyone addressed your question. If they did, well, fuggeet - I'm going to answer it ANYWAY.
They hold up very well, within reason, of course. Mine are all in excellent shape, and I don't baby them at all. I throw them into my pockets or briefcase, lay them around wherever, and use the heck out of them. The panels are the most damaged parts of mine, which I can't even see unless I take a HD pic with the dayum Galaxy Note (that shows EVERYTHING). Naked eye cannot see a thing.
I absolutely love the raw ones, and am using one right now. But mine has NEVER been not wrapped, from the day I got it. I like switching up the wraps for a new look, but the maintenance requirements significantly greater than with the anodized ones. When in heavy use I'd need to alcohol/olive oil the raw one weekly. With the anodized, every few months is fine, and not even really required. I do it to return the "snap" & totally clear movement of the sliding panel.
Unlike the raws, the anodized will never get stuck closed.
This is one that came from the very first batch of colors he did. They just happened to be orange (and it just happened to be around my birthday). Go figure.
As you can see, it's held up well. And with me, that's no small statement.
Don't play handball with it and you should be just fine.
Now, all this being said, I've seen ones that we BEAT UP. I have NO IDEA what people do with them, but a little common sense goes a long way.
