Ok I did some digging and found this on one of the forum posts

You only have that option if you are a Priority Customer. Non Priority Customers are unable to purchase Gift Certs at this time.

No one seems to know exactly what you have to do to be a priority customer. I have been buying from them for quite a while, but I order a lot of small orders rather than large ones. My way of spreading the risk of packages going missing. So I don't know if it's $ value or number of orders.
They just have a strange way of doing business IMHO. Some have many and others can't figure out how to get One. LOL It brought me to the conclusion that I really didn't need one. :)

Hey gang -

I need a little help!

I am running a BB rev4 with BVC coils, a Bridge and a JMK tip. However, the darn thing leaks. I have changed coils, made sure the Boro gasket is seated properly and cannot figure out why the thing is leaking. This is the same setup I am running in other BBs. I don't see it leaking around the bottom of the Boro and actually think it might be leaking out the top, but am not sure.

Also, when I remove the Boro, the bank is just soaked, as is the inside of the mod. Its not normal condensation.

Any ideas as to what might be going on?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I don't own a Rev4...BUT, all I can think of is:
Did you ever take the glass all the way out?
If so, did you put it back in EXACTLY how you found it?
Since the glass shape is symmetrical, it's important to remember that there is a proper inside and outside face to it.
Also, I've heard reports that the JMK tips don't fit as well in the Rev4? Make sure you're not tightening the JMK down too hard...this will cause the coil to leak, as it puts pressure on the pin insulator of the coil, causing liquid to seep out the bottom and make a mess.

Those are my only thoughts.
Any Rev4 owners wanna step in?
@stanleybb50, you own some Rev4's. What say you?

Hey guys. I didn't attempt to catch up backwards, but these caught my eye. For whatever it's worth, my Rev4 has done that from day 1. Three different boro tanks, a variety of different tips, and it's just the way it seems to be. I don't mind it, as the Rev3's were prone to it at times too, although far less consistent. With the 3's it was already related to the amount of pressure applied at the tip/screw, and I'd say it was about 25% of the time.

For mine at least, it's not really a concern. The juice always seems to be contained to the tank area, and I simply wipe it down with each fill. I don't fill the Rev 4's inside the box, as I did with the delrin 3's, as I don't want to risk breaking the glass. I remove it each time, but the hybrid tips make that an easy process.

So, in summary, I wouldn't necessarily worry about it. Just be prepared to clean it out each time, and continue enjoying the marvelous vape.

That's my theory and I'm stickin' to it. :vapor:

Yeah but...but...

I highly doubt DD designed this next-gen box to be used with a leak.

I'm sure not. And I'd expect if I was using cartos, and his stock screw, that it might not be so common. But with my aftermarkets (Bridges & Ohman tips), it is.

It never impacts the outer side of the mod, and never runs out of the tank area. So damage is basically non-existent, as is impact-while-using.

I can live with it. It's worth it. :)

Trust me, I am not casting aside my Rev4s! However, the leaking is sufficient enough that if I tilt the mod liquid can actually run out the air holes, which does get a little messy.

I will keep tinkering...Heck, it gives me something to obsess over!

That's a lot, and definitely not good. If you can't tighten everything down enough to stop it, try a different tip. I had issues with two JMK tips, with the Rev 3s, and stopped using them. I decided it was Ohman only, or back to the stock screw.

Hmmmmm here's a shot of my Rev 4's tank. This juice has been in there for about 4 days (I've been using the other BB with some DIY flavors). I won't say they never get some condensation, or even leak from time to time - but overall over been VERY impressed including keeping it in my hot car and just generally not worrying about it and have had very very minimal issues.

Like I said - this tank has been used sparingly over the last 4 days, and used all day today since this morning. And it happens to be bone dry.

I will say I'm not using an integrated tip - but they shouldn't matter. Check to make sure the connection is nice and vertical from top to bottom? Sometimes it can get a little cockeyed.

Then I liked HB's advice about not making it "too tight". I've only ever really tightened to the point where my drip tip starts turning inside the stock adapter. They fit kind of tight being ByLeo tips made for juice control.. But still probably not that tight. So maybe don't crank it down too much and make sure it's straight.

Hey Stanley. Yes, my front remains bone dry, all the time.

All of my issues are on the back side, so to speak :blink

I can attest that it is more than likely the jmk tip. I had two of these tips along with a numodz room. The jmk tips do not have an oring on the base so it will never fully seal against the adapter. I have some condensation from other tips but the jmk were always worse regardless of the other components I was using.

I did notice that the JMK, when first screwed in, does sit slightly off center. So, I gave it a slight wiggle toward center and got another 1/4 turn. I am hoping this helps.

And, during the "procedure" I did see that the liquid is definitely coming from the top.

The first thing I was aware of that you couldn't use PayPal for was the Erlkonigen clones. Like this.

It's always been easier to buy gift certificates on the mobile version of FT: Log in

That is the way I go as well, DH. Log in to the m.fasttech, buy the silly gift certs, then copy and paste the number of the cert. in the check out.

Easy-peasy and somewhat lemon squeezy.

B Box mysteries. Random leakiness. I find it EXCITING!!!

Your post reminded me that I've taken to setting down all my B Boxes on the air holes side, , , JUST in case. ;)

Haha - Oh - Gotcha. Could it be from that being the side you lay it on when you put it down? So any little bit of juice heads that way.

No, because I don't store it laying down, and it is immediate. I can take just a few hits and it's wet back there. I'm guessing it's the combo bridge & tip, but I like them both too much too change. Like I said, it's a zero impact issue for me, but mine's not enough to leak out the airholes, so....
