I have noticed that the top "inverted bell" section of the BVC bridge does develop a lot of moisture.
Maybe, when the user is taking a draw, that moisture is whipped into the airstream, and hits the mouth piece, thus spraying back behind the tank?
I'd be surprised to hear these same issues with the stock brass adapter.
I use one of each, but my JMK is installed flush with the Bridge.

With the 3's it's DEFINITELY about the pressure. I've come to figure that one out, and can usually avoid it by making sure I really screw the tip in tightly.

With the 4, I haven't found a solution. But I can't honestly say that I've tried all that hard either.

I don't think so, HB. I believe that's just a bit of condensation. It's easily distinguishable from actual vliquid behind the tank.

No, because I don't store it laying down, and it is immediate. I can take just a few hits and it's wet back there. I'm guessing it's the combo bridge & tip, but I like them both too much too change. Like I said, it's a zero impact issue for me, but mine's not enough to leak out the airholes, so....

I agree. It's really not a huge problem on mine either. Quick clean up, and bam, back to high and dry.

:p

Well I don't mean to brag, and I'm certainly not whipping anyTHING out for a THING measuring contest...but my BBoxes don't leak like y'all are saying...
I was just trying to troubleshoot an issue I've never experienced...

So ECK-SKYOOOOOOOZ ME!!!!!

 :pancake: ooh banana pancakes!

And I say good evening on this note... Kirinite is as cool as they make it sound on the website. Pics don't do them justice....

They look just as good in natural light.

How's their durability? I throw mine around a lot - in and out of bags & pockets - and was a bit concerned that they'd scratch easily. Yay or nay?

I did some light reading on Kirinite last night.
It's pretty durable stuff!
The ONLY weakness it seems to have, is temps over 200*F. Then it melts.

I hope DD can make some like this:

I love the almost transparent nature of that version of Kirinite. Almost like a synthetic tortoise shell type material.
:very cool:

Thanks, HB!

No problem!

The reading I did last night states:

"Cut and shape Kirinite to your desired form, some light sanding, and buff it to a sheen!"

Sounds like it can be cleaned up nicely, were it to encounter harsh treatment.

The designs are created by inserting some kind of poly-paper into the liquid resin, while said liquid is hot.

I can imagine they do this in large blocks or vats, let it harden/dry, and then slice it into sheets.

If you zoom in on some of Stanley's pics, on the brown/coffee colored one, you'll see what look like 3D ridges of material with liquid in the crevices.

That's the resin pooling in the crinkles and folds of the paper-like material, before everything hardens up.

Hmmmmm here's a shot of my Rev 4's tank. This juice has been in there for about 4 days (I've been using the other BB with some DIY flavors). I won't say they never get some condensation, or even leak from time to time - but overall over been VERY impressed including keeping it in my hot car and just generally not worrying about it and have had very very minimal issues.

Like I said - this tank has been used sparingly over the last 4 days, and used all day today since this morning. And it happens to be bone dry.

I will say I'm not using an integrated tip - but they shouldn't matter. Check to make sure the connection is nice and vertical from top to bottom? Sometimes it can get a little cockeyed.

Then I liked HB's advice about not making it "too tight". I've only ever really tightened to the point where my drip tip starts turning inside the stock adapter. They fit kind of tight being ByLeo tips made for juice control.. But still probably not that tight. So maybe don't crank it down too much and make sure it's straight.

I really like that drip tip, do you mind telling me what it is and where you got it?
