Glad to hear your enjoying it.

I actually just took mine out in favor of the uno 2.0
Granted this is just my first build in the uno, I don't think I'm going back to the vapeshell anytime soon.

Also, I scored some kirinite panels last week as well. Very happy about that.

Never got into reo's but I do remember those and I've still got a mark bugs chalice II from when squonking made a slight resurfacing maybe like 4 years ago. Nowadays, everything is a squonk. My current one (usmodz hybrid stinger with basic rda) is in the picture behind my BB.

I was looking for a chalice ii forever. I settled for the chalice retro. I think if the right one pops up in the classys I’ll probably still jump on it!

If you still like to squonk, and you’re loving your VapeShell...well have I got news for you!

Atmizoo recently launched an AMAZING squonk atomizer called “The Creek”...

I highly recommend it!

Oh I mainly squonk, I have several reos and a sunbox. For me it’s chalices divos hornets cyclones no fears graals etc. I have an OL 16, mad modz reactor, chalice iv and nuppin; Those were special acceptions due to their reduced chambers. I refuse to vape anything bigger ha. But I have seen the reviews for that one!

The vapeshell is definitely good! Great flavor on my first build and wick no problems. I’m finally happy with my BilletBox lol I’m using the 1.2mm air insert and it’s perfect.
Cool! It has very special shape that looks so sleek in the billet. Try a Direct coil like a 26 or 24 gauge 6 wrap in it and open airflow lol. Really dense and good. So to those that say an atomizer can't do both MTL and DL good is wrong, Vapeshell proves that it's a threshold in which chamber size/chimney with afc at both coil and bottom make it happen. But both big claptons 0.15 ohm and nanocoils - no. Insider MTL and Crossbow looks interesting, may take a look. Seems to me that Insider MTL has an integrated 1.8mm airflow? Maybe a 26 gauge 5wrap coil is better for that. I tried a new nanocoil in my Vapeshell 29 gauge 2mm 6 wrap, that usually goes with 0.8mm-1.2mm airflow hole and tobacco - not that strong - still dry but just some flavor. I must say 28-26 gauge is the minimum for MTL @ Vapeshell. Anybody has any luck with Crossbow? I have heard they are making a second batch, maybe fixing some problems with tolerances? Crossbow may be the only atom for billet work good with 30-29 gauge nanocoils. Exocet was originally made to cater more to DL. I also squonk mainly, using 14mm mtl atty. Luca Creation Speed Revolution Mini is my favorite and few have beaten it. Expensive but worth it.

Creek looks interesting but I don't like the big drip tip. Still prefer my Kayfun or my Speed Revolutin Mini on a squonk. I also have a Jorda B 22mm that is really good. imo Vapeshell experience on the billet is a bit better than all of them, No more RDA's/squonks here until something breaks, I rather get another Billet Box actually. Also I got really bad flavor over time with silicone bottles, even the high-end types - and I'm not alone, many has gone back to the original LDPE Supersofts. (new version has black delrin cap instead of metal) BF Supersoft bottle I am one of those that is very sensitive to flavor change, I can't stand ultem caps/inserts either. hehe. so...

insider-mtl-version-rba-by-steam-tuners.jpg "1.8mm deck airhole" but yeah sure just restrict with afc. Which one do you prefer between Vapeshell an Insider mtl?
I understand the hole is 1.8mm. I’m telling you the draw wide open is no where near 1.8mm. I have a cyclone rda drilled to 1/16th which is around 1.5-1.6mm and the cyclone is airier to me. I don’t have enough experience with either to pick one but the vapeshell is easier to wick.

The Creek has a 510 drip tip adapter, so you can use any mouthpiece on it...

Also, not sure if you saw but they have a new MTL add-on for it!

I haven’t tried that kit, but their attention to detail may make them one of the VERY few vendors that CAN bridge the gap for MTL and DTL vapers...

Hey can anyone give advice on the vapeshell with wicking? I’m using rayon and I’ve been hitting or missing. 2 out of 4 of my wicks have been a success the others were dryhitting. No leaks at all. I think I’m messing up with the feed holes on the bottom. Do you cover them? Stuff wick lightly into them? I’ve been cutting the wicks with the shape of the square at the ends of the base and tucking them in. Using a 28g kanthal 6 wrap spaced on a 2mm jig with rayon. I poke though the bottle of the feed holes to make sure they’re just floating on the holes not in them. When I get the wicking right it’s perfect. Also what’s with the bubbles? It seems when I get bubbles it wicks perfectly but I’m only getting them from one feed hole. Any ideas?

I lay the wick flat over the edges of the casing and cut along both corners so the wick is shaped like an arrow. I stuff it lightly on the hole, and it doesn't leak or give dry hits. I put a 2.5 mm coil, make sure of that. If not, you might get dry hits, too much cotton.

I built mine with 3mm coil and cotton. Trim cotton at edge of base. Tuck cotton into the sides over liquid ports, saturate the wick and then lift the tails slightly. Always worked for me.

I just use Cotton Bacon v2, fluff and place/stuff gently so holes are covered and cotton fill those corners, I also use 2mm id with a tight cotton through the coil. also when wetting cotton first time to test I make it almost dry, so if there is a leak when installing boro cotton absorb that. cotton also expand when wet so it cover more. Never had dry hit, just one leak when I used too thin cotton one time.

I wouldn't worry about the bubbles :) If it pops a little in atomizer when vaping thats good. Mine also bubbles from one hole, one at the time I guess it's just random.

I now got the crossbow too, and it's pretty good! Love the anti condenser/afc that came with it. The cotton placement holes are a bit lowered so more difficult to have leaks. Flavor is similar to Vapeshell with the same build/juice, but also I little bit better aromatic tobacco. Not huge difference.
