Yes Deb and Krisma...I want purple. I REALLY want a purple one. Sure LOOKS purple in the pics.:) The rhinestone ones are pretty for sure. I am thinking I would love the feel of the glass/pearl buttons. I'm a thumb vaper.:) and thank you for the size. appreciate it.

Pearls might be nice, but I thinking that if a rhinestone were faceted, that might be a little rough on the thumb. Of course i have no idea how much pressure is required to mash a BB button, but all day could still leave a thumb a tad tender.

Boogers! I can't find the cord for my camera!

My Lila Monster is really, really close to being the same color purple as my Reo mini, and looks more purple sitting next to an istick, which looks more reddish than Lila. If that helps anyone at all without the frakking pictures. :(

Thanks so much for doing those pics!!! I like the purple in the pipe, but I'm with little bird, the Lila looks a tad pinkish. I have a metallic Reo mini, and love the purple on it, it's a deep purple.

I just got back into town and found my lovely new BB in the mailbox. The batteries and cartos won't be here for a couple of days though.

I tried to snap a couple of pics anyway. But, they really, really didn't come out right. I promise, I'll take some pics as soon as I can.

Right now, I'm just SO exhausted! I need to take a nap before I can even get ready for bed.

So glad you got it!!! And hope you got some rest!!

Strike, that is so gorgeous!! I just looked him up and pm'd info to a friend of mine wanting some engraving done on a mod. I'd told her about another fella that I'd seen on a pbusardo vid, but gave her Mathew's info as well.

PeterC so sorry you have to go through that, but very glad they figured out what it is. Myelin is the cover around a nerve bundle that insulates the nerves and allows them to conduct impulses, sort of like the wrapping around electrical wires. When the myelin deteriorates, the nerves can't send the impulses to the muscles to tell them what to do. Muscles will atrophy without the nerve impulses.

Howdy y'all!!

Yeah he's definitely talented. An engraved anodized BB ia next on my list to do.

Talented by half! Three dimensional art. I can't imagine what it took to create that ...

Beautiful work. I love it when people change things up. It makes it truly yours and something special

Said she who sources the perfect DT and grinds down and polishes buttons. Truly special :)

So happy for you, Dancing! When you awoke from your nap, did you just stare at it with delight? Might sound kinda goofy, but I did ...and still do!

Peter, I had both wrists done at the same time in 2005. You have to get tricky getting things accomplished...that's for sure. But boy am I glad I did. It was miserable and I suffered so much before I had the surgery. all better now:)

What I want to know is, will I even be able to vape right after surgery? Say using my P3 (easy push button) - how to hold mod? How to push button? Am told that I won't even be able to type for the first few days?

That makes sense. I do not have the 'normal' CT complaints - mainly hand *pain*, and they feel swollen (but aren't), and it's like my hands became 'dumb' - can't do stuff, lots of keyboard errors, dropping stuff, can't pickup stuff, etc, etc
I thought it was all "OA" type issues, then they did an 'EMG' and basically said I have to do this ASAP just to stop more permanent damage... /sigh

Been avidly following the thread, but not posted lately - happy with my plain 3a, although some of these colours and custom boxes are amazing...!

Anyhoo, in case of interest to anyone with a BB who can't get their paws quickly on AWs; I found these batteries fit in mine:

https://www.fasttech.com/forums/1134001/t/1492657/good-for-the-billet-box/1

Bought a pair; they're a tighter fit than my (now 9 month old) AWs, but don't need forcing in. They have same power and last as long between charges as my AWs. Can't tell their life-span (only had them a week) but 500 recharges are claimed. (Took 7 weeks from FT to UK by surface mail, but I guess quicker for Pacific Rim folk.)

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Gosh, I dunno Peter. I was smoking in 2005. I know it's not the same, but one of those automatic cigalikes might be the way to go if necessary? I still use them on the plane. My biggest concern at the time was how I was going to wipe myself.

That'd be my EXACT concern too.

Too funny guys and gals... Actually, it's amazing how creative we can get when we have to. I only had my then 9 year old daughter at the time. A friend brought us dinner for the first 3 days. It all worked out. We find another way to do things when we have to. I was typing or should I say plunking within 5 days, I think. I only needed the pain meds for a few days. Can't even SEE the scars, The doc did a good job.:) I have an extra cigalike if you might want one for the first few days Peter.:)

With all the surgeries I've had, not too worried bout the pain level (knees, hip, shoulders, nose, throat). I simply do not know if I will have *any* use of any fingers or thumbs the first few days? Can anyone tell me? Hold my mod against my chest with brace, and side of other brace to fire it?

While my lovely wife will be here, and supports my vaping, she'd rather not want to have to do that for me on top of everything else?
