Welp, got the first piece for my BB setup. Was selected for the Haku Xeta list (waiting for shipping). Now I just gotta get a BB, hopefully this Saturday.View attachment 837385

When you get yours be careful with those little grub screws for what they call juice flow control. If you unscrew them up about half way they can and will fall out. I have lost 2 so far, didn't know they would fall out so easily. I like the Xeta now that I have it where I like it, but as for those grub screws they shouldn't just fall out if you are suppose to be able to raise them to slow the flow of the juice, no point in having them if they don't work right.

Hey all!

For anyone using the Haku Xeta...

Have you been able to build a successful MTL set up?

I’ve been playing around with airflow inserts (smallest & second smallest), and the upper chimney inserts (smallest & second smallest)...

I’m using single wire Kanthal, 8 wraps at 2mm diameter.

Running at 1.64 ohms according to Box, and firing at 9 watts.

Attempting to “recreate” the experience of my Kayfun Lite [2019]...using the small airflow pin on that tank, with airflow fairly tight...replicates the draw of my Phix pods.

The goal is to have an MTL set up for a Box, in which I can use Nic Salt juice, like I do on my Kayfun.

Anywho...not having much success...

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I think I'm starting to sound like a Haku cheerleader, but I just learned something that has me totally astounded.

I am and always have been a MTL vaper. I've tried the highly recommended airier things and I just couldn't get the dense flavor and strong throat hit I want. Lately, it seems I've moved away a bit from the really tight style I had, but no way do I approach anything resembling a direct lung vape - even a very restricted one.

I liked the Xeta enough that I wanted another. I entered the third drop and was lucky enough to get one. It arrived Friday.

Two people who have always given good advice (Mark Todd and Angsty from the Plumes of Hazard) had both said they'd not bothered with any of the restrictors and inserts and were very happy with the performance without them.

So when I built the new Xeta, I thought "why not?" I even pulled out the chimney restrictor that comes pre installed and did not use a restrictor under the coil.

Why I'm astounded is this Crazy Outlaw build (for me) may be better than the medium restrictor setup I did on the first one. More throat hit, and the flavor is very very close to my original. The builds themself were the same - the only difference was in whether the Xeta was fully open or restricted.

I have no reasonable explanation as to why or how this is happening. But then again, I also have no idea how the Xeta is able to pull juice from the very bottom of the boro when the wicks are a significant distance above - and other previous Billet bridges with the same layout can't. It's just a remarkable piece of vape gear.

It was time to bring the original raw back into rotation for a spell. Light weight, delrin tank, original Billet Bridge with a 1.6 coil, running at 4.25v. Just like the old days.

Baby's got some miles but she still fires perfectly with every press.
