Part of the fun to :)

I agree. The level of excitement you have when you are able to snag one is pretty awesome. I have never been as excited about a particular device as I was to get the BB. And I have had my share of "high end toys".

I've had my BB about 2 months, but haven't been showing it much love lately, waiting for the diver to up its game. I need to get one of these new o-ringed versions, as I do have some condensation behind the tank. This should eliminate this.

I get condensation in mine too... its a v3... with just a regular ol Carto. Excited to try a diver v2, though... anyone know where to find one?

The condensation I get in mine is with a carto as well. Doug should be stocking soon a version of the brass connector thingy that has been redesigned with an o-ring.

I received my diver v2 in the post yesterday, no time for a proper build yet.

The diver v2's are available from atmistique.gr

They have a very active thread here where we are given advanced notice when they are available. Sorry no link since I'm mobile just now.

what's the best resistance for diver v2?? 3 and above is a bit too slow and less vape for me, even the flavor too..

It is like this, you are power limited obviously. Max of 3 amp and max of 5.5 volts, which equates to 16.5 watts with around 1.8 ohms. I honestly don't see any difference one way or another if you fiddle with your two modifiable variables (voltage & resistance). I am sure there are plenty of people who have their favorite values, but total power is total power, no matter how you go about achieving it.

edit....your coil/wick type and ejuice will also factor in as some will burn at the higher power. But what I was referring to as max power, cannot be increased.

I've got a 1.8 ohm microcoil around cotton ball wick, using 28g A-1 Kanthal and 32g Nickel NR. You can probably run this at the lowest setting , I have mine set to about 4.2v and it is a slightly warm, tasty vape.

uggg, you guys sound like your' doing science... lame.... i'm so not in a math mood... anywhoo... my diver V2 (super mega edition) has a 1.4ohm coil in it, it's fine at 4.25...... our ohm guidelines are for the general public, not vaping enthusiasts... but the bottom line is that 1.8 ohms is bout as low as you can go AND utilize the full voltage range without limit... but you wouldn't want to fire a 1.4 ohm coil at 5.5 anywayz.... the chip set will either just limit the voltage or trip if it gets too hot, but it won't hurt it.

I'm not sure how many they produce per week but seeing that they sell out within 15 mins. they will need quite a few more machines running to even come close to matching demand. And of course, it'll be harder for DD to keep an eye on quality if he increases production too much so I don't expect he will expand his operation beyond his control. When you hold one of these, it is immediately obvious that DD holds quality above all else. And that's a good thing, even if it does take some effort to acquire one.

we shoot for 125 a week, it even happens some times... thanks' a bunch for your comment river.... you got that just about 100% right, though i would really, really love another machine (dear santa, i haz been good, please bring me a long bed fanuc robodrill with shrink fit bt30 tooling) ... If we can get to a point where all i "myself" have to do machine parts, and design cool shít, we'll be in great shape... we're getting there, but for our company being one year old, ehh, we do ok...
