I wanted a RPG one but the reg came up in the classies so I have all sorts of wraps so I made my own RPG, I have puny fingers so I added buttons that were easy to fire. Pearl snaps come in so handy.

I KNEW that button was DIFFERENT!! (I ZOOMED IN!!) Just hadn't gotten around to asking ... Still checking out turbo's dna MODDING above! Lolol! ;-) NICE job on that button BTW! You boys ... Errrrr ummmm guys ... GOT SKILLS! :D

(That's correct DP oh great wise one!! Hehehehe! :D Wonder if retird has sniffed this out yet! Hehehehe!)

And he is the other that I both await and fully expect.

You know me where the dna's are concerned. I'll keep my BB's intact. But I "get it", and I'll keep this eye out for ya's. ;-)

OK. Out the door (sigh). Bye for now!!!! :2cool:

And just for the record, dear #####kids (and hopefully not giving too much personal information away), the "guy" in question, well... not exactly. ;-)

(With all due respect to Krisma, of course)

Oh sure, make fun and laugh and then try to clean it up by saying it's beautiful. You're just such a genuine person. NOT. :D

And, well, yeah - no argument THERE either (just for the record). A wise man, you. :toast:

I am SO late. And SO delaying the inevitable pain of what awaits me, a mere .9 miles from here. I DON'T WANNA GO!!!!!!!!

Damn this thread moves fast

OK, update from my guinea pig friend re: the Billet Bridge and the aforementioned Aspire BVC (Not the Nautilus BVC) heads I mentioned and linked to yesterday:

Do the Aspire BVC (Not the Nautilus BVC) heads fit in the Billet Bridge - YES

"How are they? Well they take for ever to soak in, you cannot speed them up because it is hard to restrict air flow. It seems like it is going to take a mL or so to break in?

Working well now after soaking all night. Very airy draw.

More news to come."
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

"OK, so last night I put it together and filled the tank. nofire puffed the crap out of it trying to get the hint/taste/aroma of juice to come through. No go.

Left it to sit over night and tried this morning. Had that "fresh head" taste to it. Threw it in my pocket for the drive to work.

Flavor came in fast, full flavored within 5 or 6 good puffs. Vapor is great, flavor is good. It is feeding and working well. I bought the 2.2ohm BVCs for my Billet Bridge because the lowest V the BB does is 4.

But how is it compared to?

It is better than the SABAT-DDD with a stock ARO coil in it. Not as good as the SABAT-DDD with a Fear Built Coil in it. Is it as good as the Nautilus? No. Not the Nautilus with a good head in it. Yes it is better than the Nautilus with a ....ty head in it.

Is it as good as a Spheroid or even a Kayfun ? yeah..... NO

But are the more consistent than the Nautilus BVC coils? I have no freaking clue, I have only used one so far. But.... China, so do not get your hopes up.

How are they for gunking? I dunno yet, I have Vecchio from Ahlusion in my BB right now. On a Kayfun with a 1.6 ohm build in it I can vape 4 and sometimes 5 complete tanks of Vecchio before that not so fresh feeling kicks in. That is 16 or 20 mL

More news later."

Hey turbocad6, are you planning on using the billet dial with a pententiometer to change the setting in order to keep the inside stock?

honestly I'm not sure yet. I mean I know I'm going to keep the round dial format so I don't have to alter the inner engraved plate cosmetically, but not sure yet whether it will be the original dial itself or a replacement made from brass. also not sure whether it will rotate completely with a pot or if it will only turn a few degrees either way to activate up and down, kind of like a car door lock cylinder. advantage of second option is that I would then be able to activate stealth mode and turn the display off to conserve power... can't do that with a pot... that might be worthwhile in this mod

I'm also really liking Dougs idea from the beginning of this thread of using wood panels instead of the carbon fiber. I'm a big fan of carbon fiber when used as structural material but not so much when used as just a cosmetic item. I'm thinking of making snakewood panels for this... I love the silky yet almost glass like feel of snakewood in some other mods I built, might look nice on this :)

Never had a problem with juice soaking in, kicks in after 2 or 3 minutes. I have had a duff coil though - just would not play fair.

Had the same one in now for about a week with no problems.

I know DP was laughing with me. I have a bit of history with the BB. It took me for ever to buy one then I had a dummy spit and sold it. Immediately regretted it and it took me ages again to replace it. Then within a week I got the second one. DP knew the saga so he is allowed to laugh with me. :D
Have to luv it when a plan comes together by complete accident.

On the dollying up. Except for the provari's and the EPM, I always change the buttons on my mods. It just makes it easier to fire. I haven't decided on the colours yet so they are only stuck on temporarily.

I didn't feed them so just the pair LOL and you can laugh to.
I found some marble snaps and there is a lovely blackish one so I will see what that looks like in real life. We are a bit remote and don't have a lot of sewing or craft shops locally, everything I look at is on ebay or etsy.

I grew up in a city, now I live sorta out in the country. When I think of "a bit remote", to me that means a gas station, or store of some kind is like 10-15 miles (one way) away. When you say 'a bit remote', what are you meaning?

We have a PO & small supermarket. Our nearest shopping is 20mins but that is individual shops. Nearest shopping mall is down town 40mins away.
It's ok because we are in a beautiful part of the Adelaide hills and have huge trees and a lot of wildlife. We are still considered part of the Adelaide area but on the very outer fringes.
