Who's got um. What's your build and how many watts are you running.
Can you throw up a pic of your build? Im using 24g as well and cant seem to get it right.8 wrap 24g kanthal with a 2mm id. Ohms at .32, running at 45 watts. Love it!
I wick it Trevor Jones style which seemingly works perfectly for all dual coil RTAs I own. Trim the wicks flush with the deck etc. Then juice them up and gently guide the bottom of the wicks into the top grooves of the juice channels. Form the remainder of the the cotton in the deck.Idk how you guys are running over 15 or 20 watts on this. Any draw over 4seconds long at 20 watts gets burnt for me. Ive been trying to find the sweet spot with this thing for 2 weeks now. 24g kanthal at .23 ohm today. Leaking never been a problem for me even when using minimal cotton. Chain vapeing is out of the question with it too. Flavor has been meh thus far as well..
I just tried some 24g last night says it's running at 0.2 on my sigeli 100w+ kind of the way I wicked it too but it was leaking this morning. Got it to stop hopefully it makes it through the day with no leaking. It's weird sometimes it will be fine until I put it in my pocket then all the sudden it's leaking like hellVery little wick, just enough to touch the top of the channel. Max vg juice. 45 watts and chain vaping, total juice hog though!
Not a problem I make my own[emoji12]Make sure that the wick is covering around the air hole though, basically it's packed in around the channel instead of in it. Warning, buy more juice, when you get it right the thing drinks a tank in no time!
I see. I like to rock the air flow wide open so I can run higher wattages with out a scorching hot vape or burning my wicks up. I'm sure it's just like all rebuildables u have to play with them a bit before it works well. I'm sure I need to just experiment with it more. My current build is 24g wrapped around a 5/64 drill bit. At 0.2 ohms on my sigeli 100w+20 gauge kanthal, 2mm coils .28 ohm on IPV D2 in temp control mode @ 50 Joules. Really this thing comes down to wicking. The thing is to cover the wick channels, not really stick any tails or anything into the them. I'm running 96% VG. Shortest wicks you can make. First build try to make it wick so well it floods, then back off from there with just a tiny bit in that top recess of the channel. This is a very personal wick configuration. It's a ratio between how far open the airflow control is vs amount of cotton in channel.
