The black plastic screw on the GGTS inside connector is stripped and leaking into the battery - any tips?

Hey guys.. so the black plastic on the connector (screws into the collector tank) is stripped. Last time I screwed it in it just kept turning and turning. I didn't think much of it, but this morning there was liquid under the collector tank (not a lot, but enough to make me nervous)... now I'm afraid juice will get on my battery.. Anyone have any suggestions for me? I will get a new one when I can (does anyone have a spare?) but in the meantime I'm not sure what to do.

Yeah I believe that's it.. That's not for the axis post right?
I put a small piece of a rolled up napkin around the connector pin, so hopefully that'll suck up any leaky juice. Not that my Ithaka is just flooding into the battery or anything! Was only a drops worth

yeah it's for the connector/collector tank. Don't forget to be careful with the pins o-rings when you replace it.

Yup - and of course I have a bunch of spare o rings but only one of those black plastic pieces! Ah well, luckily CoV has them in stock!
Right when I get it my JustGG will come of course - but oh well, I don't want to leave my GGTS with a missing part!

I too have run into this problem. My battery is soaked with juice. I just ordered the above part from COV and hope that it fixes my problem. I have other mods lying around and would prefer if they continued to lay there.

Yeah I've got the part coming as well.. for now I'm just being careful, I haven't had any leaks since that first one, but I've got a small piece of a paper towel wrapped around the brass pin just in case.

Hey guys-
I got the black plastic in the mail from CoV but it didn't fit! It screws into the GGTS Collector Tank just fine but I can't fit the 2 little o-rings around the brass connector pin into the plastic, nor can I fit the little metal nut that screws in (the piece that sits between the brass battery connection and the black plastic)

Not sure what's going on here... are there different size connector insides?
I had to go back to using my old one, and I kinda dinged it up trying to get it out of my GGTS

Any suggestions?

You probably got the plastic insulator of the Stealth cap which is smaller internal diameter

Luckily I do have a stealth cap, so it won't go to waste

Just a suggestion but Liquid Teflon would be a great temporary solution for leakage issues in the control tank I would not recommend it for use in an ODY, Penelope or Ithaka as it would effect taste for sure....

Or teflon tape for that matter. Just cut a strip about 1/4" wide and wrap once or twice.

Oh yeah, that would be perfect, thanks for the suggestion. It doesn't seem to be leaking or anything, it only happened that once... weird.
