Hi All,

I purchased the blu starter kit, some spare batts, attys, and some extra carts, total cost a little over a hundred bucks.
I received the kit last week and am quite dissatisfied. I unfortunately had not found this site before I purchased.
The Blu does not give me a consistent good experience. The volume of vapor never seems to be very good, I would say less than a quarter of what a draw on an analog would produce (of smoke). The Carts seem to run out of juice very quickly. The draws are inconsistent. I have tried three different atomizers. They all seem to behave similarly, all inconsistent. I rarely get a satisfying throat hit. Based on reading the threads here I have tried removing the foil in the cart, modifying inhalation, with little improvement noted.
After reading the threads here I ordered a 510 and accessories from the ladies at Cignot. I am eagerly awaiting its arrival. The one thing I can say is that the Blu has helped me go from a pack a day to around 4-5 a day of analogs.
I have a real desire to get off analogs for health reasons, I have already had 2 surgeries to remove Cancer from my tongue.
You would think the big C would scare you off nicotine but trust me, for me the sirens song is hard to resist in times of stress or crisis and no matter how much you want to, that song is hard to ignore.
I hope the 510 will give me that edge to break the analog habit.
I am so happy to have found this site with all you great people and tons of good info.
Happy vaping:)

I am already amazed by Cignots service. They confirmed shipping within 90 minutes of me ordering, I was astounded.
I feel like Ralphie in a Christmas Story waiting for his secret decoder ring... have to check the mail, have to check the mail. Can't wait to get the 510.
The Blu site is really slick and makes the uneducated think it is the best thing going. I learned my lesson the hard way. But I look at it as a learning experience and now having this site to refer too, I won't get suckered again,
Cheers

I almost got suckered by their slick website, too... it was just sheer luck that I did a google search to do more research and found this site. Glad you found it too :)

Unfortunately, I made the same mistake as others. While the Blu did one great thing, which is get me off analogs, now I've found it a bit lacking after using it for the past 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, my 13 year old (who has been bugging me to quit for a while) found Blu, and so I did something I rarely do, I purchased without researching first.

I now have a 510 on order, and eagerly awaiting it's arrival.

Cigarette addiction is funny. I lost my 'smoking buddy' from work a couple years ago to small cell lung cancer. I remember thinking how ironic it was that after speaking with him at his benefit and seeing how his body was being destroyed by the cancer and treatments that I went right back outside to have a cigarette because of the stress of the situation. That was 5-6 years ago and I haven't gone a day without a cigarette until I bought my 510. Prior to that I used a pen style for about 9 months wherever I couldn't smoke.

The 510 isn't perfect for me, but it's giving me that extra boost I need to make that leap.

I did the same thing....saw the Blu site got excited and ordered before I researched.
The one good thing the Blu has done is get me from a pack a day own to 5 or 6 analogs a day. The funny thing is that the analogs don't seem to taste the same. I enjoy smoking them less but there are times the Blu's inconsistent performance frustrates me into lighting up.
My 510 was sorted through the Orlando postal facility Saturday night (only 3 hours away from me) but no further updates.....grrrr. If I don't have a package waiting when I get home from work I am going to have to buy one last pack of analogs. Keeping fingers crossed........

I did pretty much the same thing. Ordered a Blu kit (which should get here today) and then found this place and wondered if I made the wrong decision. I did a fair amount of research before I ordered, and while I knew the Blu wasn't the most impressive PV out there, it seemed like a great kit for a rank beginner like me.

I'm anxious for mine to get here, but have a feeling it won't be long before I either give up on PVs (hope not) or start looking for my next one (flip-flopping between a 910, regular 510, or the new Tornado 510 on TW) to replace Blu.

I got a blu and a 510. I like them both for different reasons. I will say the blu's cart system leaves much to be desired, but try dipping or dripping it instead and you'll find it's your new best friend.

Instead of carrying loaded carts in my blu's carry case I'm going to figure a way to seal up some hollowed out carts filled with e-juice to use as a dipping tray. Sealing the hole in the bottom shouldn't proove to be a problem, but I'm still trying to work out what to cap the top with. I have some preloaded 510 carts that came with little rubber caps that might work :)

I was a Blu sucker too. I didn't even search the net before my purchase, which is completely unlike me since I do a lot of research before purchases. The reason being was that I didn't even think there would be a community like this out there, so naturally, I didn't try. I wish I did.

Good thing Blu offers a 100% money back guarantee, and they were true to their word. I used up all the carts they sent me and they still gave me all of my money back.

Now I would say that for most people, if you think you want Blu, you really want a 510. Otherwise, if you're like me, you need mods. ;)

Thanks for the tip HexKrak. Should be getting some liquid in the mail today. Will try dip/drip.
