Well, im new to vapping, got my first E-Cig (Blu) about 5 days ago. While I love the portablility, and the charging pack, I do NOT love the inconsistant vapor, and the fact that the atty is about half aslong as i think it should be to get all of the juice out... when the cart is "empty" i pull out the lil container in the cart, and its still half full. Now I know i screwed up by ordering the Blu in the first place, but ill have to stick with it bc of money shortages. Is there anything i can do to mod it? and cart mods to get all the juice? any other E-Cig parts i can swap onto it??

I oredered 3 bottles of liquid, but idk what im doing really..... any help would be great.

I like my Blu - but you do have to mod it to get it working right. My favorite mod is Fluval cart stuffing. You can get it at the pet store - it's called water polishing pad. I can get about ten or twelve drops in and a cart lasts me for two batteries. There is a Blucig sub-forum here under model specific discussions. You;ll find some good info there.

Also, the problem you have with carts being half full when they seem empty...
That problem exists with ALL Ecigs (Perhaps Blu is the worst at that, but all Ecigs have that problem).

Some tips..

1. When it gets to the point where you're not getting good vapor/TH or tastes burned...
Get a paperclip and bend one end out. Poke that end into the little hole on the mouth end and push the "Cup" out of the cart.
Now take that paperclicp and shove it in the cup, to push the cottony material(filler) down into the remaining liquid. Now the filler is soaked again. Now use the paperclip to gently pull the filler back to the top of the cup.
Put the cup back in the Cart with the paperclip (pushing on the Rim of the Cup, not the filler material).

2. Lay the Blu on it's side, or battery side down in the PCC.
This will help the juice flow towards the Atty.

3. Mods - Angelique mentioned the Fluval, I find the PTB the best (for me). Definately try them.

4. Vocano is compatible with Blu. Try Volcano Atty's. They are longer than the Blu and stick further into the cup. They work pretty good.
You need extra atty's anyway, and Volcano's are Cheaper, and work better (IMO)

TY! ill try the paper clip trick right now, as for the volcano, ill check it out too. i saw it when i was ordering the Blu, but i didnt know what the differences were... guess i know know. I do like my blu, so ill try to order a couple of volcano attys and see hoiw that goes... TY jonmo1 for the info

If I remember right, you can run a 510 Atty and cart on the Blu also. They last way longer with the juice. Battery life suffers but as long as you keep one charged you will be OK.

ok ty rambo, if i knew how to PM you i would lmao, i just started on this forum today, still tryin to get the hang out it. well, i tried the paper clip thing, with very little success. i got 1 reeeeallly good hit, and then nothing, i tried stickin 2 half full "fillers" in the same cart, but the failed too, the filler expanded like 800% and i couldnt get it back in lmao. i did how ever take the filler out and rub the juice all over the atty tip, and thats works GREAT, so i guess ill have good smellin fingers till i cant figure something else out lmao.

OK, here's what you do. Get prepared for when you get your juice.

Go to WalMart (or any grocery store) and get some Lipton Pyramid Tea Bags.
It has to be PYRAMID TEA BAGS, it must say it on the box.

It's very easy and VERY effective. I now get about 90-95 % of the juice out of the cart.

But what you have to realise is that while the Blu's functionality is just fine, the carts are very small. So no matter what you do, you're going to have to refill fairly frequently. This is probably the biggest complaint people have with the Blu.
But there's really nothing you can do about it, they're just small = less juice = shorter cart life.
But as long as you have juice in the cart, the Blu actually works just fine.

ok ill look into that, ty jonmo1 , again lol. im trying to figure out how much stuffing i need in the cart, and how much to fill it.... does it need to stay in the clear thing to keep from leaking??

Yes.

Most people say they take the filler from 2 carts, and put it into 1.
I personally never did that. I made do with the prefilled carts as they were untill I got my juice.
I then went through 3 different filler mods (Blue Foam/Fluval/PTB) untill I found the one that works best for me...PTB.

You can do the PTB pretty much exactly as MoobyGhost did in that video.
He did it for a 510 cartridge, but it works pretty much exactly the same with the blu.
Cut the 3 seams of the Bag (discard the actual tea), leaves you one long rectangle of material.
Cut that in half so you have 2 (approxamately square) pieces.
Use 1 piece per cart.

Roll that peice up (I use a toothpick, makes it very easy).
Let that roll loosen up a little bit
Fold it in half
Shove it in the Cup (creased/folded end down)
Cut off the Excess.
You don't want any of the PTB sticking out of the cup.
It should be pretty much flush with the top of the cup.

It will take some trial and error (fortunately they are VERY cheap).
The part where you loosen up the roll, that will take the most trial and error to get the right thickness. You want it to be slightly thicker than the inside of the cup. But not too much.
It shouldn't take alot of effort to slide the folded piece into the cup.
But it also should stay in the cup snugly.

That's pretty much it.

infact, i can get a volcano starter kit for 39$ i might save up and grab it, since its almost identical to the blu... i wonder if the batt are the same voltage.... if so i can use the volcano pack to charge my blu batts and visa versa, i also wonder if they use the same carts as a blu... if so that would be GREAT... i guess its back to do more research lol

The advice above about using a paper clip to push the filler into the remaing liquid in the cup, get it wet and pull it back to the top of the cup, the put back on atomizer, the atomizer will push it back in the cup to its proper place.

Becareful when dipping or dripping. The atomizer really only needs to get moist. Also becareful when you get your own liquid not to overfill. Again the atomizer only needs to be moist, to wet and it will burn your atomizer out quickly.

Also if you like lots of vapor try some VG juice it produces more vapor than PG juice.

Just my 2 cents, your milage may vary!
