On this day in 1980 The Blue Brothers opened quietly in Norridge IL as agreed between the production and the Ctiy of Chicago. It then opened nationally days later forever changing the future of film making in the city.

Wow has it really been that long? I love that movie, and there music, I had 2 of there albums. I love Rubber Biscuit. "We're on a mission from God." That like still makes me laugh. John was so talented, God I still miss him.
