The Buzz V V - 6 Weeks in...

Well I've had my Buzz V V mod for about 6 weeks now and it's time to tell you what I think...

This thing is AWESOME!!! I tend to keep it around 4.7v for my 510 attys and around 5.2v for my 910 attys. I have been using VaporBomb's 80pg/20vg juices at 18mg/ml and let me tell you that this thing PRODUCES MASSIVE vapor. Again is all about the variable-voltage with this mod. batteries are the 3.6v ultarfire 16340 880Mah trustfire brand batteries aka LiCo (rcr123a) PROTECTED batteries. (Do not use unprotected batteries people)

Vapor Production: This thing is a total beast even at lower voltages. I mean coupled with a 910 atty this thing makes clouds of vapor and I mean MASSIVE CLOUDS of vapor...

Throat Hit: I'm on the fence on this one, the 510 attys provide massive TH whereas the 910 attys produce massive flavor but a bit lacking in the TH department, but atty style is your own thing, my preference is the 901 type due to the massive flavor it provides. (Then again this is highly subjective)

Battery Life: The TrustFire 16340 LiCo (rcr123a) protected batteries seem to provide about 6-8 hours of vaping pleasure. I got my batteries from a vendor other than then the manufacturer of my PV at a reasonable price and the charger was also priced affordably as well... (Batteryjunction)

In summation, I would highly recommend this device based solely on it durability. It makes for the massive vapor clouds even at lower voltages w/o a LR atty, and makes the 901 attys really shine at higher voltages. it's all about the variable-voltages my friend, 5,6, and 7 volts just taste funky or burnt, tune your vaping experience, choose the Buzz V V.

Could not agree more on the Buzz. I almost gave up in disgust on variable voltage after my really bad experience with Vaprlife and the Joker AV.

The Buzz is indeed bulletproof and a great unit. Most importantly, it has good customer service.

But as you said, it's the attys make a ton of difference, and it is purely a personal choice. Since I blend my own juices in my secret underground complex known as my basement and guarded by my fearless Middle Schnauzer, Cleo, I can blend juices to suit the atty.

I do find that the 510 works better with the cream/coffee/cake flavors, and that the 901's work better with the the fruit flavors. I do have to add more VG with the 901.

Since I got into vaping to get away completely from analoges, I have stopped vaping any of the tobacco flavors. After 6 months tobacco free, I tried a Marboro Red (my old brand of +30 years) at a friend's house and found that it really sucked big time.

I have been trying the high resistance 510 atty's from EastMall and am really liking them. With regular attys it seems that there is somewhat of a burnt taste as one starts to go over 4.5 v. I also like the longevity of the HV 510's.

Adjustable voltage really gives one the best options for fine tuning taste and vapor. The fixed, higher voltage units give me a burnt and harsh taste.

Variable voltage is the way to go, and you would be served well to look at the Buzz.

Nice review! VV seems to be the way to go. I have The terminator on the way for my BB that will be running @ 7.4V. I can't wait. I'll be able to use any resistance atty or carto. Can't wait.

A Blemished? A Blemished??? I read a couple threads about people talking about their new 'blemished' buzz. They could NoT find a blemish. I got a kick out of that. Guess they didn't pass final inspection for some reason and most people could not find the 'oops'.

I, too, love my Buzz! I use it with 808 cartos and being able to find the sweet spot for each juice AND carto has been fabulous!

We all know, all cartos are not created equal and with the VV Buzz, I've been able to use all of different kinds that I own and find the right combo of carto/juice and voltage! Vaping heaven!

The finish on my purple "blemished" is awesome -- no flaws detected by me! The button is small but easy to use, good resistance but not too much, nice little "clicking action". No sore thumb! I love the LED that let's me know when the batteries are dying/dead -- I'm a little slow realizing that the change in vape on my other PVs might not be me but the battery, duh! This is a great visual for me!

The battery life is excellent (I'm usually around 4.2-4.7 volts) and get around 6 hours if I'm Buzzin' solo (12 + when I'm back and forth between PVs).

I love the consistency of the voltage the most! Every vape is where I have it set...no dying off until the batteries are kaput. That is truly awesome!

So, in a nutshell, the Buzz is FABULOUS!

1. Variable voltage, find your sweet spot!
2. Small, but bright, LED indicator for us in need of visual aids
3. Consistently great vape
4. Great customer service (thanks, Buzzkill)

BTW, it comes with different top-caps for different connectors OR you can use adapters! How sweet is that?!?!

I've had my Buzz for a month now and I will say that it has changed my vaping experience from good to...WOW! The ability to change the voltage in tiny bits (rather than big jumps) has made it so easy to hit my sweet spot on every juice, carto or atty I throw at it. I don't have to worry about a misfiring button, I can toss it in my glasses case with no worries. It also has protection built into the unit so I have no worries about exploding or nuclear battery meltdown! I do use protected batteries but knowing that built in protection is there is an extra layer of safety for me.

Customer service is great. Buzzkill can usually solve issues on the Buzz sub forum but if not, then he'll make it right however he can. He's not just a vendor, he's a very active member of our community. It just doesn't get any better than that IMHO.

I guess I’m another Buzz fan boy. Excellent vape, reliable, comfortable, great customer service and variable voltage. If it was lost or stolen tomorrow I’d buy another Buzz. I really can‘t think of a higher recommendation than that.

I am waiting for the new Buzz (one with a voltage reading) to come out. My mind is almost set. The one thing that's been worrying me is the center pole being a screw, which presumably can become loose. Has anyone experienced leakage through the screw and into the innards?

Mega, my understanding is that it is all sealed, so no way for leaks to get into the guts. Hop on over to Notcigs and ask questions! I can promise that Mike will answer anything you throw his way I haven't had any issues with the screw on mine.

I have not had any issues with the screw on mine either. I tend to be a bit messy. Overfilling cartridges, etc and I've never had one problem.

Just got my 901 top-cap and the volt meter leads so I can once again use my incredibly sensitive fluke meter to micro-adjust voltages, sitting a 4.525 volts atm vaping VaporBomb's mountain mist at 80vg/20pg with my shiny new 901 top...

The only problem I have is the screw adjustment is a pain to try to use with screwdriver. If it had a small knob it would make changing the voltage so much easier and then I could use it as intended but using a screwdriver everytime you want to change voltage is just to much trouble so I just leave it at one voltage.

I like having the screw. I don't change my voltage very often and would hate being forced to constantly dial in the sweat spot after bumping a knob. Guess it just depends on how often you make adjustments.

I am concerned about a little dial getting accidently moved. Guess I would have to see a pic and explanation of this dial thing before I would buy it. I don't mind the little screw. I know it stays where I set it. I know it only changes when I intentionally change it.

I need to see this dial thing before I'm sold on it.
