The "carb" on a 901 atty

My 901 atty has a small hole in it, as I am sure all 901's do, which I am also sure is for air flow purposes. Does it fry the atty if I occasionally plug this hole with my finger, using it as a "carb", to get better vaping? I only just started doing this, but the vapor and the throat hit seems to be more satisfying using this method. But it also feels like I am doing something that is bad for my atty?

attys are not meant to last forever. atty-atomiser BTW so all you may be doing is increasing your replacement cycle. overall 901's are great i drip with no cart on the end and get a nice warn vape off from time to time.

I'd say about 60% of my hits on my rn4075 are with the hole plugged. Gives a stronger hit. And i've noticed nothing negative after 2 weeks on this atty.

Thanks for the replies! I'd say I use this the "carb method" about 50% of the time, so we'll see how long it takes before my atomizer goes belly up =) I'll let you know, in case your on pins and needles about it.
