Thank you Alice, thank you very much... Elvis as left the bldg

Yes indeed Isaac's attys. What can I say... he has done his job and has done it well. If it wasn't for Isaac's attys, the bullet line would still very much be a pipe dream for me. My heart was broken when he called me to announced that the drip tipped I had designed for the shorty (for the bullet) did not fit the longer shorty as the size had changed :( I nearly scrapped the whole concept, as Isaac's attys are a KEY element in the bullet, without them it would not have been the same.

I would have liked to see the semi continued however, but because the semi was originally intended to fit between the shorty and the std length 801, I had to concede that it was a good move from Isaac's perspective to discontinue the line. The semi was intended for the 50 cal. No biggie, I can still maintain the relative scale with the shorty :)

I ordered six each of the Semi 2.5 and 3.5, when they first came out. I am so glad as I do like them a lot. DH and I have an almost non-existent rate of any attys dieing, so I expect to have maybe all of the Semi into next year, still working well.

That being said, I ordered 20 of the last 40 "old style" full/tall 2.0 801s. The $5 price was too spectacular to pass up. I can cut them down to any size I want and uncrimp the end enough to use DTs on them. (I actually only drip now on a de-bridged to test out flavors. Short dry burn in between flavors)

So all is not lost as, with a simple inexpensive pipe cutter, from most hardware stores, one can make his/her own Semi size. I use a small flat/duck bill pliers to uncrimp the edge a bit, without leaving any marks on the beautiful finish. Warning, uncrimping is much easier to do than re-crimping if one over did the uncrimping, which I did only once. Certainly won't do it again.

Just a thought. At many stadiums, people camp out, sometimes days, to purchase opening day tickets. This leaves out many people who can't do that. This year, for opening day, the Texas Rangers are doing a lottery drawing for opening day tickets. You don't pay until you commit to purchase. It is online entry (probably other ways too). Entry ends this Tuesday, I think, for opening day at end of March. This seems like a really fair way for all people to have equal chance to get tickets.

Alice,

What a sweetheart you are. I have discussed with Issac and Jack about a fair way of doing this, and this by far seems the fairest :)

I am fully cognizant of folks work schedules, time zone deltas etc... We had discussed selling them in 5 spurts the first day and first come first serve on the second. A point to note, the Canadian market is not as large and I do not believe they will sell within the first day. But then again many will probably venture over when Isaac sells out.

For clarification, there is only a total of 50 available: 25 per country. The 26th will or 51 and 52 will form part of two commemorative sets (all 4 calibres), one per country and they will be US#1 and CD#1. These sets will come in a beautiful handcrafted velour wooden box, with certificates of authenticity. Although the sets will be reasonably priced, they will be out of reach to the average vaper. But I do have a feeling that the US will go quickly, and I have a good feeling who will be purchasing it.

These are collectibles, a fully functional PV, but a collectible nonetheless. In order for them to retain their value, a limit on the total numbers had to be established. To mass produce these not only raises the price of the PV, it also diminishes its value, and defeats the purpose of why I chose to make them. That being said, I know I can't please everyone, but I will endeavour to please most, all the time.

what about bidding on them through pm's to you?
just a thought.
or maybe just bidding on the sets.

Keep the ideas coming folks.

Wrt yours skull, I am afraid no can do. All sales are through Isaac and Jack.

Wrt the sets that is something we can ponder on, and check with ECF wrt the rules concerning this. regardless we have lots of time to figure out what to do with those.

Switched, thank you for all the wonderful information but I am here in regards to a more grave subject...
the 50cal has been leaked!

YouTube - 50 Cal Ecig Mod

OK, I've been silently following this thread and have been getting excited from the concept of this, but to see more of a "real-time" view of what it is going to be is very nice.

Something like this will look nice on my bike!

EDIT: I posted before seeing the pictures. NIIIIIIIIIIICE!

Looking great.

As far as your post regarding eGo vaporization .....

IMO wether or not people like to use their ego with or without the cone is more about the draw than the temp of the vape.

The cone tightens up the draw way too much for me. So I use mine maybe 70/30 off/on

Actually I do notice a higher temp, but I think some of that is attributed to the longer draw needed to get the same size hit. And wether its the first hit with a cold atty or you've been chain vaping on it.

Either way, I'm sure these are going to perform great.
Sure hope I can get one or more.

As far as the commemorative set .... Maybe some kind of auction with any funds over a set price going to help the fight against bans .... or better research .... something along those lines.

These might not be for you then. They vape/smoke like a properly hand roled premium cigar.
