Hello everyone,

I started vaping about nine months ago and love it. I started with a cheap no name starter kit and progressed from there. I just recently bought my first rda and did my first build last night. I do believe I am hood on a new hobby!!!

I've been lurking this forum for a while now and know there is a vast amount of information out there that I've already been soaking up. Now that I'm a member I can ask some specific questions and share some of my insights with you all.

Well I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all. So, as they say "Here we go"!!!!

What is the ohm of your first build?

Did you read up on battery safety, Ohm's law, amp draw, etc. We like to hear new members have done their homework, and if not, let us know so we can point them in the right direction.

Why thank you for welcoming me Susan!

I'm an electronics technician so I am well versed in Ohm's law and the workings of DC electronics. However I do want to thank you for making sure that I am educated on the workings of vaporizers.

With that being said you're probably going to think I'm crazy when I tell you my first build is a dual coil .21 ohm using nichrome in a 3 mm id. It's on a doge clone.

When I first purchased my doge the gentleman built at my local store built me a .47 ohm using kanthal with the same 3 mm id. It's been less than a week and I already wanted something more, if that tells you the kind of hobbiest I am!!!

Welcome and you will not be disappointed you joined. I've been using ecigs almost 5 years and i lurked here for over a year before i joined and as soon i did i thought how dumb was i for not joining sooner as this place and the people are awesome. Get your 5th post in and then get verified and a whole new world will open up to you. Welcome again and good luck.

Thanks for the info beez I was not even aware there was such a thing as a verified member!!! I'll be sure to do that as soon as I hit my 20th post on here, knowing my self that shouldn't take too long.
