Good Morning posse!

We are a talented group.

Jeff, love the pics of your wife shooting, that's awesome.

James your wife needs to learn, and you need to have a gun in the house. Honest.

Bliss, are you still in the CC band. LOL!

Sorry for anything I missed.

That's it, it's still coffee time.

I love guns wife hates them hates them more now that we have kids I bought her a 10 gauge mossberg a few years back and took her to the range she hit 18 out of 20 and was excited so I from her to a field and over 100 rounds she never came close that ended her trap and skeet interest.. my brother inlaw is a sniper with county and marshals as well as a instructor so I have access to unlimted rounds of ammo as well as interesting things to shoot.
I can't play a instrument at all...
Enjoy your dat...

Scary but effective for mowing down the Russian Army. Can I have it??

Russian squirrels maybe and no
Then you do know who Woody Herman is. :)
Yep

I have 4 guitars, a bass and can play piano. Only one gun, so far. I like to collect guitar effects pedals. Here's a couple of my favorite pics of my wife at the gun range. She shot a hole through the middle of a dime at 25 yards with that AR.

I had a picture of my pedal board but I can't find it. I'll have to take another one.
I have a MandaLynn too

Get it?
:facepam:

I just cant understand where she thought that a .22 had too much kick. That particular revolver was just as heavy as an M9. To me, it has NO recoil at all. And she shot the revolver after trying an M9 and a .22 Ruger semi-auto. The Ruger is heavy as hell too.

I miss shooting.... :(

Its the grip on the revolver and/or her grip on it.

I know we need a firearm. Whats really creepy, is that she's had dreams, some where she was literally kicking and screaming in her sleep, of a guy in a yellow shirt with no face that has tried to attack her with a large kitchen knife. She's dream of the same guy walking into Kathryn's bedroom (that one was before the other two were born) with the knife. I keep trying to convince her its a necessity. I dont need an arsenal, but I would love to have a Berretta M9 and a 12ga for home defense. Of course Ive also said that they would stay locked up in a safe with trigger guards. But its still a no go. There are very few things that she truly puts her foot down and says no to. This is one of them though.

And now that I killed it, all by myself, I am going to walk the dogs.
Its not dead. Just napping. Im trying to stay busy with work. We are going to be having a work cookout Friday since its going to be around 75 degrees. That means the boss' boss will be here and the warehouse needs to be presentable again.

James, I'm a member of an outdoor gun range that is 5 mins from my house. If you are ever up here, let me know and we'll go shooting!
My ex-stepdad has several range memberships, both indoor and out. He goes shooting pretty much every weekend. Not that I wouldnt mind chillin' with you, putting holes in paper, but he's a WEEEEEE bit closer!

Im not so sure. Its set up with a smaller grip for women, and she had a solid and proper grip on it. I think its just simply the fact she is so uncomfortable with any firearms that she just wanted an excuse to not shoot.

I have a taurus pt101. Its their version of the M9 in .40.

That's possible too but if she thought it kicked harder than the semi then it might be the grip. Those smaller grips are also harder to hold and the revolver geometry is all different. I'm lucky, my wife took to it and really enjoys it. She,bugs me about when we are going to go to the range.

All this talk of shooting makes me want to take her back to the range again... My ex-stepdad still has the .38 Lady Smith that my mom used to love. Im going to see if I can borrow that along with his .45 1911. Though I think it would be hilarious to put a 12ga on her shoulder. Reminds me when we had a chick on the ship that was sent on temp orders to the ships self defense force. We had to qual with the M9, 12ga, and M14 (I LOVED shooting the M14. Its just awesomeness with a barrel!). Anywho, With the 12ga we had to shoot standing (from shoulder and hip), sitting (shoulder), kneeling (shoulder). And the M14 same positions, plus prone, minus the hip shot. From standing, even with a solid stance, it knocked her on her .... from the shoulder. From sitting, it would rock her to her back. We had to have an instructer stand behind her and brace her to she didnt fall over. Then when we stood to shoot from the hip, she had too loose of a grip, and it shot backwards out of her hands. Did I mention shes about 4'10" and maybe 90lbs?

HEAD SLAP Koil is back from his Honeymoon. I get it now. Gee whiz I thought you had some strange funeral rituals.
Which people would think I had too if they didn't know why we sent my deceased father down the Ohio river in a plastic bag...
:) :) Well, look who is talking!

You crack me up!

I like that story very much...it's touching, heartfelt and funny...like me on a good day!

Yup, I got my "any" pick, Tie Dye #9. I wasn't fond of the colors, so I traded at the vacation spot. Now I have a Magenta Bliss headed my way! :)
Awesome..grats!!!

I've played trombone and guitar, neither one very well, and we're talking about getting a gun for the house as well. My dad was a big collector, so I'm familiar, but still want to take some training classes with the Wife! (Love saying that)
