It's me again, just popping in with a photo.

Janie, woohooo on the Provari! It's amazing how quick you will get used to the weight :)

Here he is, his name is Nick, the guy that helped us at Home Depot was named Nick and we told him we would name the Flower Pot Guy after him. :D
When we bought the house, this old chair was in one of our buildings and I kept it because even though it was all chipped and funky, I liked it. We attached Nick with wires to it and now, when winter comes, we can just move the whole chair inside. His hair is a succulent called Crassula Calico Kitten. It's supposed to be a trailing type of plant so eventually he may have dreads like FV :D

FV,

Have you considered carrying the eGo C-Twist batteries? They are intriguing to me as they are eGo batteries but offer variable voltage between 3.2 and 4.8 volts... at an extremely reasonable price point... I would not have to change any hardware from what I currently use with my eGo for only $30 or so a battery at retail....

I know most of you are Provari fans, but it is a much more reasonable price and would give people like me an idea of whether or not higher voltage is really worth the price differential. ;)

What? Our word isn't good enough? ;)

Not at $245 for a Darwin and probably nearly the same for a Provari with batteries etc.... ;)

I'm still paying off my student loans (less than a year left I hope) and working on paying down the wife's credit card bills! (Wife is repaying $90k in student loans also )

It's worth it. I'll be shocked if you'll be able to tell that with the eGo C-Twist. I think people who use them and love them don't have ProVaris or Darwins. I bought the precursor to all of the new eGo variable voltage gizmos out now, it was the vv eGo. POS is all I can say about it. Dunno, maybe the eGo C-Twist really is all that and a bag of chips, but I have my doubts at that price it can do what they advertise. Call me a cynic. Personally I think you'd be a thousand times better off with a lavatube mini if you want to go as cheap as possible. At least you might be able to trade it or sell it in the classies when you decide you should have just gone all in and bought the ProVari or Darwin in the first place.

Hmmm... you could have bought a ProVari off of me for under $130 the other day in the classies along with batteries. Just sayin...

Hi everyone.

So, I have to order some juices. :) Has anyone had problems with Lemonade cracking tubes? Or any of the CC juices?

I know cheesecake is on the order, but I want to try something else. I'm not typically the buttered rum or CDM type. Need to expand...

Hey kash. I've never had any cc lemonade crack a tank. I've never had any cc juice crack a tank. Your safe. Get to ordering!

That is disgusting.

What she said. Crazy people!
She is crazy

We have ways of handling people like that here in Texas...
*hint* every last one of us carry guns or at the very least have guns in our home!!!

If someone began leaving sticky notes on my property over things like that... they would most DEFINITELY only do it once!!! The second time we would step out of our house and politely ask them to vacate our property before the loaded shotgun accidentally empties itself into a tresspasser! (legal in the state of Texas as long as you have No Tresspassing signs in place)

We have to deal with HOAs too, but there is no way that we would put up with someone doing that. In fact, I strongly suspect that anyone harassing someone like that in our neighborhood might well become either afraid or ashamed to live in their own home and decide that they should probably move themselves rather than attempting to force others to do so if they do not like the other people that live there!

She'll never move. I think she wants to turn it into a senior living community! Plus she is on the board and volunteers at the police station -- guess who calls the police???? I imagine her doing her rounds every morning then getting on the computer and reporting everything to the HOA. I've talked to the HOA about her and they say nothing they can do about it. CA has the most HOA's in the country! Never again!

I have a sister that lives in one of those kinds of neighborhoods. When they first moved in, her hubby went out and mowed the lawn. The next day the lady next door came over to ask my sis where she found a white yardboy. LMAO! Just for spite, he still mows his own lawn. In cut off levi's and a grateful dead tee shirt. And sucking down beers as he goes. Bwahahaha!

We do our own lawn. I dislike gardeners and their hours. 6:45 a.m. and they are out with their stupid gas leaf blowers! Try to lay out by the pool on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon - nope.....next door lady has her gardener there.

We pretty much have the same thing here, except we're 20 minutes from the ocean, we live on a mountain and we're 2 hrs from Boston but only 45 to Portland or Portsmouth. Works for me! :)

We are 1.5 hours from the Sierra's and about 2 to the ocean (depending on the trafic going into San Fran). We leave in the "arm pit" of California  When we looked for housing there was nothing but foreclosures and short sales, until this house came on the market and we were "lucky" to get it. I wanted to live up a little farther where there is land, but its all horse property and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Good evening folks.

It was really odd weather today. When we got out of bed, it was 66 degrees. By the time we were done with CJ's thing, it was 55 and it was raining. Yeah, you read that right. In 6 hours time, the temps actually dropped from 66 to 55 by 10:30... By the time Kat and I left for practice, it had turned into a BEAUTIFUL day with temps about 70.

Sorry for the lack of update. We were up at 4am, dropped the kids off with the in laws in Charlotte, drove to the Levine Children's Hospital. We got there at 6 for a 6:30 appt, and it was nearly 9 before they took us back. I went back with CJ while Mrs E waited in the room. Its not an easy feeling watching your kids fall asleep like that. They found that his epiglotis and adinoids ( airway flaps) were stretched, floppy, and slightly swollen. The doc thinks that it was caused from his last round of croup causing him to struggle to breathe, literally pulling those flaps into his airway and stretched them out. There is also a slight (20%) blockage in his trachea, just passed the voice box. He was born with that, but the doc felt that it isnt anything to worry about. Kids with 80-90% blockages that get operations done can only hope to reach a 20% blockage. Basically, there isnt anything we need to worry about right now. As long as we keep doing what we are doing, and do the best we can to keep him healthy, there is no need to operate on the flaps or the blockage, though it is an option if he continues to suffer, or has one really bad attack. He did really well coming out of the anesthesia, with no dementia, or vomiting. As soon as we got home, we ALL took a nap. We got up in time for to take the beater car to the shop, then I got to take Kat to practice. Doing some of those drills worked me just as hard as the girls. Im gonna be sore in the morning. We also got our uniforms today. Neon green on black. They actually look pretty good.

We get to get up early (but not 4am early) in the morning too. Mrs E has a dentist appt at 8am, and I get to take Melanie to her doc for a round of shots. Then when all of that is done, I get to try one more time to get the lawn mower running. If I fail, I get to load it up on a borrowed trailer and take it to the small engine repair shop up the road. Once all of THAT is done, Im hoping for enough time to play with the boat. I pulled a couple of batteries that we were going to toss away at work. Im thinking I can get at least some of the electrical wired up. Im also hoping to get to the gas tank to check if any of the old gas has turned into a nice sludge or not. Then of course, there is practice again tomorrow night. The last one. Our scrimmage game is at 7:30pm Friday, and our first game at 10:45 Saturday morning.
