    Why yes it is. (red) I still need to put up the trim, I have more red paint. :laugh: That darn marans in there is broody. I have to fling her out the door and close it. argh.

    Thanks for the photos/ inspiration, I really like the roost above the nesting boxes, keeps at least some of the poo in a smaller area. Is that the stay dry/ cat litter like substance on the floor?

    Yes, the roosts have "poop decks" which have vinyl flooring in the bottom. Then a nice layer of stall dry over that. The floor has vinyl too, with stall dry. I scoop the worlds biggest cat box every day. The floor stays pretty clean as they fly straight up to their roosts if they are not in a nest box. They like to sleep as high up as possible, that's why the boxes are lower. No pooping in the nests!

    The door opens automatically at 6 am and closes at 9pm.

    Nothings too good for my girls. :laugh: I told Mr. V they needed velvet draperies. He ran.....

    Lil Stretchy approves. Though today she wants air conditioning. She's walking around panting and holding out her wings. It's in the 70's. :facepalm:

    They actually are. Just wait until they are about a year old. :lol: But they still want to be lugged around. I can't sit in a lawn chair without chickens on my lap.

    Too cute! You're killing me here... I have a broody hen. I could order eggs and give her a reason to sit in that nest. :lol:
