In a house...
Thank you for the link to the ohm calc, Sallie...but I do have one question for those that may know...

If I have a 1.5 Ohm DC carto...they're wired in parallel, correct...so the resistance that I would put into the calc would be the circuits resistance, which is true 1.5 ohm, and not the single coil resistance of 3 Ohm from each coil, right?

If my calcs are correct, if I slap a dual coil 1.5 ohm carto on my 6v mod...I'm pulling 24W?? Is that right??

It gets more complicated than that with dual coils. Each coil is 3 ohm, so you are pulling 12w twice but I don't think it calculates to double the hit. The amperage also goes way up to possibly unsafe levels.

Well, the calc shows it at 4A...man, that is crazy, even if its just sorta close. I need to be more careful with that..yowza.
