The other day i put my kicked nemesis back in it's belt holster.
After a few minutes i felt the heat, through the holster and through my jeans at my side.
Turns out i didn't lock it and it kept firing on and on and on.

At that stage, the tank that had around 2ml to begin with was almost empty, the entire mod was hot, but the hottest part was the kick, it was so hot you wouldn't believe it.

I carefully dismantled everything, checking all the part, thinking oh great there goes the kick/battery.
After being dismantled, the kick with the kick ring around it remained hot for around 10 minutes.

Surprisingly enough the battery charges and discharges properly and the kick works fine as well.

Next time I will double check that i locked my mech before holstering it.

I'm glad everything was ok. That has always been my fear with a mech mod. Ive picked up my Chi You clone out of my pocket before and realized the lock ring was loosened but not disengaged yet.

I'm mostly using my Emit Vapor Shotgun mod now. The nice thing about this mod is not only does it have a locking ring, but it has a recessed button and a long throw. So I feel much more peace of mind with it.

I did that with my Chi You that i did lock, only i had it in the inside pocket of my carhart jacket..
It was more a test to see how it would carry there, mainly because i didn't trust the lock on it.

I guess it spun from the fabric in my jacket and unlocked..
I was checking it pretty frequently,so it didn't have time to get too warm..
It was in my pocket for the length of the walk from inside work to the parking lot..
I checked it about 5 times in the two minute walk before i noticed it was getting hot and pulled it out and pulled the battery..

So i don't carry mechs in my jacket pockets with batteries in them. That was the first and last time for me..
