But.......Sewknitty you may not be wrong. Doing some stalkerish activity, I deduced that Drew's website phone number area code is New Jersey! So....Wednesday for you might not be impossible. I still think Thursday at earliest for me. The question is; do they come from Drew or do they come from Evolv directly? In which case further stalking would be necessary. Who said vapers only stalk mailmen. We are equal-opportunity stalkers!
Wow, nice.....5Th...hopefully they are inputting them all into the system. Does it say if they are they shipping USPS 1st or Priority?

I don't have a tracking number yet but Thursday will be known as Stalk Day at the Sewknitty house. I'm going to bribe the kid with a 20 to be my lookout. Actually...I should take him out to practice for his road test....yeah, he could use some work on his left turns. If we happen to mirror the mail route and see the mailman... Hey, I'm going to call that lucky occurrence one of the rewards of good parenting.
I got my tracking # email from Drew about 1:30 Saturday afternoon, going Priority Mail, eta 1-3 days. Poor Mailman.
Bad news first...Apparentley the anodizer did such a great job on the anodizing this time, that the arms wouldnt fit for final assembly...
I got a call from Darwin saying they would do their best to have them shipped to me by Monday(Presidents Day AND the day I leave for China for 10 dyas) and although I do have tremendous faith in my crew, I still like seeing seeing Darwins and going over them personally.
When I hung up the phone with them on Friday night I felt like I got punched in the stomach.
I also found out that day that the cartomizers I picked up from the post office turned out to be some Romanians (ESMOKE.RO) VG liquid so I had to spend $200 shipping $300 worth of liquid to Romania, and I still have no cartomizers.
I ALSO found out that MY liquid that was shipped last Tuesday was returned from Hong Kong becasue they said the bottles were too big!!!!
So needless to say my tone with Evolv was lacking its normal cheerful ring....

Late Friday night I get a call from Brandon...He is leaving the machine shop with the Darwins and going 50 miles away to spend the night Re Assembling the Darwins...
THEN he would be preparing to load his family in the car to drive to New Jersey to drop off the Darwins!!! This was really all I needed to hear to make the cartomizer and liquid dilemma dissappear from my memory(almost anyway) and turn a bad weekend into a great day.
So last night I drove to meet Brandon and his family about a third of the way (Allentown) between Ohio and New Jersey and picked up the Darwins...SOOOOOOOoooooo
All Darwins will be shipped Tuesday Morning Priority Flat Rate...Everyone should have tracking numbers already as we printed and filled orders Saturday and had all the boxes ready for shipping.
I really apologize for the delay as I did say that I would have these shipped yesterday (Saturday) and I hate it when circumstances cause problems like this...
As a concilation I will be including a Cisco 510/510 straight adapter with every Darwin for thos that would like to try the various available tank mods and The Ato-Miser, which allows you to fully open the Darwin with this adapter....

just a question, will anyone produce some sort of adapter to allow us to close the darwin with some sort of tank mod, or ato-miser attached? an angled adapter of some sort?
Drew you are one great vendor. I doubt most would have went thur that must trouble to keep their customers satisfied.

Thanks for making it happen, Drew. The only part that bothers me is, I don't have a tracking number to celebrate.

Thanks for the update and the extra 510-510 adaptor. You are one of the best in this business in my opinion. Thanks to Brandon also for the Darwins, it was nice that you drove some of the way and save him some driving time. Your attention to Us, and your Customer Service is hands down the best.
