I am currently at waiting list to get one of these high-tech pv. I am curious about the material of the body. Is it some kind of metal or plastic? I really hope Drew get at least a couple hundred of these Darwins since they are a HUGE group of people on the waiting list, ready to kill one another just to get one of the Darwins.

Powder coated Aluminum, and I am right there with ya, I have a feeling there will be quite a few this time around, at least I am praying.
The Darwin is actually not powder coated. It is double hard coated anodized aluminum.

As for the "list" - the other posts here are correct - as far as I know. I am fairly certain it is a notifications list. I believe Drew will notify those on that list when the Darwins will be posted on his site for sale so those people get sort of a heads up.

Hope this helps.
Happy :vapor:

Yes, thanks, Andell. Hope life is treating you lovely too!

Now, about the 'lady' t-shirts...can I just vote for standard covering, Ski? Thin and low cut doesn't leave a heckuva lot to the imagination... or for a super badass graphic. There will be lettering, I hope? :)

Sure will on the back :) BTW imagination is so overrated SK. So happy to see you back and hope all is going good with you

SK!! I'm so so SO happy you're back! The women contingent has been sparse lately. Yeah, I know I can handle them all but...

There will be lettering on the shirt that says,

"I got a D'win shirt, and you didn't. Nah nah nah NAH nah."

Or not.

It might say "You didn't read the whole thread".

Actually it will say...

"Watt?"

<nudge nudge, wink wink>

Ok, I'm off now. I know I'v always been off, but I'm really off now...

Big hugs to my D'winian 'core'.

Hi all, been away for a while. Been busy with life, and just got back from Clarksdale, MS. I played at the juke joint festival, at Morgan Freeman's place.

Just turned over 11 months without a cig yesterday. 10,000 not smoked, and don't want one. Congrats to the new additions to Darwinia, and 'hang in there' for those waiting.

Hi ski, and they don't come any stranger than myself. I'm still DIYing up a storm, thanks again for the pointers and help starting out. KD, sorry to hear that! I would ask, but it sounded like the request was pre-denied... Panky, I"ll have to check out the vid later, on phone now.

Checking my little counter thingie, it says 10,141 cigarettes avoided, and a bunch of money not spent. Thanks to Brandon/Drew/Evolv for making Darwin possible, and more importantly, in my hands! Initially I struggled with vaping. Finding the right juice, the right device, the new routine is all vital to not smoking. Darwin fit the ticket perfectly for me, and vaping has been easy ever since. YMMV, it may not be for everyone, but it should be!

off topic and likely covered somewhere in this monstrosity of a thread, My darwin has survived a spill in a cup of coffee, had the batter replaced once. So shes well worn. recently I have had a really leaky atty and ive noticed the screen has somehow gotten juice into it. Im wondering if this has happened to anyone else? and will it bounce back? I took about a week for the screen to start working again after the coffee incident, i think i remember reading somewhere that these will not be affected by liquids.... anyone chime in? TIA
