The DID as a first genesis?

I don't think I've seen a bad review of the DID and it looks cool. I'm new to this and trying to decide if this would make a good 1st genesis type device for me. I love tinkering and am very handy so the assembly would be no problem just not sure of all the other things I might not be aware of. Any tips would be appreciated.

I've wanted one myself for one time. But, I'm having such good results from rebuilding heads on the Vivi Nova, I'm just not in a hurry to spend the money yet.

They're very nice to use - had a go on a friend's DID - bit of an airy draw for me, but not awful. Flavour and vapour is great and in real life they look great imo.

I'm using an ego-t and like it a lot but I'm a gadget freak and the clouds of vapor that DID puts out is insane. The fact that everyone says the flavor is excellent also intrigues me. The ego is good but the flavor doesn't seem very consistent.

as a step up from an ego-t - the DID will be one giant leap

Takes a tiny bit of practice to coil your own atties - but by jove... is it worth it! I remake atties for 20/25p each time The best of vaping IMO.

The DID will be better off on a small mod rather than the ego battery.

Right here, on this forum, you will find a thread in euro suppliers, created by the maker of the DID. It contains very detailed information, techniques, and owner conversation about the DID. I have one and find it an amazing device for those wanting to learn and tinker with Genesis style atomizers. It has become my sole vaping device.

I have one coming that I ordered for myself as a birthday present. I had previously ordered another Genesis type mod from someone here, but it hasn't shown up yet.

Regarding the "airy draw", the DID is available in 2 top caps, the standard has a slightly larger hole, but the other can be substituted by making a note when you order.

You guys are making my decision on the DID very easy now for the mod. Is the ProVari mini v2 overkill? Still new to this thanks.

Only if you decide not to screw in the nut which seals the juice tank. Some feel flavor is better with it out. I usually keep it screwed in, but I like my juice tamed down a bit. This is the real beauty of the did, it is highly adjustable. More coils, less coils, gage of kanthal, coupled with a variable volt bat, and you have endless refinements to suit your taste.

Btw, couple what I've said with a Mod maker who bends over backwards to be helpful, and a real web site to purchase from, and you have an excellent transaction experience.

Thanks rickly I'm still new to this and the wire and mesh wick decisions are a little confusing but I'm learning more all the time. A little trial and error experimenting doesn't hurt either.

Do it! after using my first one it was so good I had too order a second . Now I'm thinking about a third . I've also bought another genesis since and it does not compare in quality or performance. The did could possibly be the best genesis out there
