Jealous! That is a sweet looking rig. Is leaking an issue if it gets laid down?
Thanks (that's mine, in the picture, lol). Leaking is an issue if you don't use the fill hole screw, which I don't, because the flavor is better without it.
Anyway, in my opinion, there is no comparison possible between Genisis style atties like the DID and any of the disposable atties / cartos / clearos in terms of flavor and vapor production. You'd be very lucky to jump from -T to this, and you'll probably save a lot of money otherwise spent on Chinese beta tests. The people on that thread, and others, are really nice and helpful should you run into trouble with building wicks, oxidizing them, wrapping coils.
I'm not a fan of the brass center pin, but I think it's quite a stretch to call it poisonous. Jim will make available stainless steel pins and nuts soon so that's a non-issue.
I know it sounds too good to be true, but the standards are set low by the dispomizer industry - a wick can last you several good months, a coil at least two-three weeks, even more. Mesh and wire are quite cheap - essentially, $50 worth of the stuff might last you 4 years after you're done wasting it on tests and experiments.
