I bought it for 60 bucks a few months back and LOVE it. It is a little pricey I guess, but if you already have EGO batts, etc, it's not bad. With all the money we all spend on e-cigs, whats another 60? Going from standard EGO to the Booster is like night and day. I have a liquinator hooked up to it now and it's amazing. DO NOT get the EGO-T VV battery for a few reasons. First, once the battery dies, it's done. Secondly, it's not actually a VV device, you can read up on it in the forums. Not worth the money, spend a little more and get the booster.

If you don't have any EGO equipment, then it may be more prudent to look at other options.

IMHO, the Ego Booster is a good example of the speed of development in this industry. As a device to be added to the very popular Ego battery it seems like a fantastic piece of equipment and well worth the money.

However, its raison d'etre is being rapidly overtaken by the newer generation of mass produced VV mods (like the LavaTube) and the longer-battery-life mods such as the E-Power.

I'm sure that if there was a strong market for add-on devices like this then the Chinese would have responded.
