If you're really picky like me, you'll actually rinse them out with hot water and let them dry before you use them.

That's the way i use new atty's too. I just cant have the vapor of the factory juice in my mouth. It's not that it has a very bad odor or what, it's mostly tasteless for me. I just dont like it without any taste.
Dont forget to put two or three drips of juice in the atty after it's dry and then put on the depot. Wait another minute letting the juice flow in the fibres.

Thanks for the tips and feedback everyone! I am enjoying my new eGo immensely (have used the same battery all day and haven't had to recharge it yet!). I am getting used to the draw on it (I like the cone so I don't think I'll discard it). Haven't noticed any increase in vapor but I'm definitely getting a better throat hit and better flavor (especially now that I blew the atty out). Thumbs up! Another satisfied eGo convert!

Vapor increase may require an adjustment on the liquid you use. I got good vapor production using the cart and atty with my Tornado/Ego. For the sake of convenience and consistency (or rather, the convenience and consistency I was looking for) I switched to cartomizers and had to find a new liquid to produce a good vapor. I got decent vapor from pg liquids with the cart/atty, but found that a vg/pg mix worked better with a cartomizer. You could try changing up your liquid to see if it helps with vapor production.

The battery life is certainly a significant increase over a standard 510 battery. I get at least a full day of vaping out of my Tornado/Ego. I typically get two days out of it because I use a passthru while I am at home on my computer.
