Hey Guys,

Today I got my first order from V4L...in that order I had two packs of premium orange juice flavor and I'm left disappointed like I have been so many times before.

I've tried every so called orange flavor under the sun. The closest I get to it actually tasting like orange was the Mimosa from Gourmet Vapor. The GreenCig stock orange flavor was good...but not in an orange tasting way...more of a lime tasting way.

I had high hopes for the V4L Orange juice pCartomizer and it fell flat on it's face. Tasted just like the regular orange flavor KR cart I got from a different supplier. So basically...it doesn't come close to tasting like orange.

My disappointment was apparently visible that the first thing my girlfriend said to me when she came over was "What's wrong? you look bothered".

So my question is...why is this flavor so hard to get right?

I add a drop or 2 of Tasty Puff to my orange and it is very good. Just like a glass of OJ. Great morning vape.

I've tried three orange juices:

1. V4L Orange Juice - I actually like this one the best for an all around smooth tasty orange flavor. As it turned out, I like peach leagues better even though I thought this was the best orange. The thing that was missing was a good tang.

2. Ms. T's Orange Juice - Tastes a lot like the V4L OJ, only this one does have that added tang that is missing from the V4L. The reason I didn't like it is because whatever adds that tang also adds a stronger harsher throat hit that I found irritating. I know it was the tang that caused the increased TH because the same tang is clearly recognizable in Tasty Vapor Amaretto Stone Sour, with the same overly harsh result.

3. Johnson Creek Red Oak Valencia - I'd recommend trying this one if you are looking for an orange. I found the flavor a bit too mild so I preferred the V4L OJ, but the Valencia doesn't taste basically the same like the Ms. T's did. The Valencia definitely reminded me the most of cracking open a real orange, there is a taste to it that made me think of cracking open a fresh orange and watching the juice spray from splitting open the peel. That taste was great, there just wasn't enough of it in the juice, not enough flavoring used IMO.

I too don't care for the ornge flavors..anywhere. I love real orange juice though. The closest I ever got to a really good flavor was the old manderin orange flavor. V4L doesn't have it anymore.
The problem isn't the flavors it that we aren't truly tasting flavors, we are smelling them! A real orange doesn't smell as good as the juice tastes.
There are just flavors of juice that don't translate well and I believe orange is one of them.
