I have come to the conclusion that the erlk has a brain. When I first received it, i had a few issues here and there but after quite a few tweaks it seems I cannot make a bad build. What I think happens is the erlk needs to feel that perfection, once it does, it remembers it and replicates it most of the time regardless of the build. Or another possibility is that the erlk plays hard to get at first and does what it wants, but after a while it says" ok you have paid your dues and now I will cooperate".

I agree completely.

Sometimes it's our subconscious that learns the limits of a bad wicking job so as long as you're not crossing them, you just do it. When however you cross them, your subconscious kicks in and you "feel" something doesn't look well and you step back and start over without even trying the atty... At least that happens to me.

I can't seem to make a bad build these days. I've tried every different kind, and they all work!

Let the madness begin.....

First impression, take into account that I've bought a ton of attys as clones trying to find what works best for me before I drop a bunch of cash on one. Out of all the attys I've bought, this is by far the best built yet, everything is nice and tight, the threads are smooth, shockingly smooth for a clone. Here are a few pics, then I'm off to follow Qs directions and coil and wick this thing...... wish me luck. LOL

hello all, I've been lurking for a while and you all convinced me to try the Erlk, started with a clone, received it today and the machining is absolutely fantastic and it was clean as can be out of the box, for $16 I am hugely impressed. The problem is that it wont make connection on my eleaf or mvp (gimme some time, only been vaping for 2 months). I know that the Authentic comes with the spacer, but the clone did not, for now I wedged an o-ring in there so it is making contact just so I could test my 1st build (2.5mm, 8 wraps, rayon, no leaks, gurgling, or burnt hits, WIN!!) however the resistance is fluctuating probably because the pos pole isnt as tight as it should be and its wobbly. I cant do the real thing yet, but dont really want to wait for the spacer to come, is there anything else readily available that I can use until I get a mod with an adjustable pin or the realy thing? I was able to get several hits off of it and was blown away and the vapor and flavor so far. I am most impressed however with the weight of the thing, its awesome!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Long story, but basically 'cause I can't afford one myself, and both the erlk site and intaste.de happened to be out of stock today.

My grandma gets me a ~$60 Christmas present every year (whether I ask for anything or not, but she vastly prefers for me to pick something myself), so I asked her for the erlprinZ this year. She was SUPER leery of the site since it's non-US and in German, so I went over to help her with ordering, and... they're out of stock. And she's worried about it not showing up before Christmas, so she didn't want to wait/ mess with seeing if they'll come back in stock, and suggested that I think of something else. Ofc, I'm not complaining on that front-- it's a gift, after all. Just sooo disappointed to not be able to get one. *sigh*

Anything that doesn't conduct electricity and that you can shape in form with an x-acto knife or scissors... Like an old credit card (might be too thick) or one of those coupon cards (thinner than a credit card but plastic)... You get the idea I hope

Edit: do you have a rc hobby shop near you? You could measure the screw diameter (not the head but threading) and ask for a washer (or a dozen) of the same id and 1mm extra on the od and. 0.2 mm thick. Should do the trick as long as the washer sits hidden under the positive screw and doesn't touch the 510 outer threads

Per dhl you'll get it in under 5 days or so... Just make her wait a little. I bet i2r won't take long to get it back in Stock... Every hour they do, they loose money to the clones (they still will but maybe not as much)

You'd have to know my grandma-- she's already given up on it. Oh well... I guess I can still wistfully follow this thread and live vicariously through all of you guys!

Just got one of these from a fiend ive wanted one for awhile. He said he built it 10 times and one of those was a good vape but i cant wait to try it this thread is looonggg but im gonn have to read a bunch of it to get some pointers.

SUCCESS!!!!!

Build took me a while, like Tony said, feel like a barber. LOL..... trimming like crazy, but found the right combo. Had a slight leak, then turned it upside down, tightened the afc, flipped it back over loosened the afc.... working like a charm. Gotta take a break for a minute, nic buzz in a big way. LOL.

I like it.
