I've been using a Silo, pretty much extensively, the last week or so, easy and little to no care, this doesn't have quite the vapor production, but the flavor and nic hit are WAY better. I'll get better with it, with more builds. this was a 1.5 ohm build. wanted something the Provari would handle with ease.

My ErlK nano left promptly from Austria to Germany then across the Atlantic, over my house, and landed way out in Ohio (13+/- hr drive from here).
It's been siting there all day with no movement. Waaah!

The rest of my vapemail arrived today but I really really wanted this baby. I'm not as sanguine as Dusty. Patience isn't one of my virtues
Note: shipment is labeled as spare atomizer parts... I wonder how much DHL is going to hit me up for this..

I'm gonna give it a few more builds, and try cotton, KDG, maybe even some silica, and what I like best, and if I can be consistent with it. Then I'll know for sure, but I can definitely see a ErlK in my near future.

They're probably running it through a radioactivity detector plus x-rays, taking pictures and registering you as a potential criminal... Atomizer parts? That sounds like parts for a nuclear war head jeez

LOL, I actually ordered two of the FT clones, still waiting on the other, it has that tip with the drip tip adapter, but is still sitting in the FT site waiting to be filled. it'll take forever. It's all good though, only $16 sitting there, I can wait. now I gotta figure out how this Sat22 works. LOL

lol, I hate that "waiting for vape-mail" feeling. Particularly with the international stuff. Too bad they couldn't just airdrop the New England orders as they fly overhead on their way to Cincinnati ;-)

With any luck you won't get hit with any extra duties. I've had two orders from the Erlk guys now and no fees from DHL yet *knocks on wood*

Just to cheer you up:

Here in Portugal we have a table with all kinds of products and the corresponding import tax fee. Most items only pay vat (23%) but some "special" categories have to pay added taxes. For example, rc stuff is exempt put "metal" rc stuff (like rc helicopter parts) have a 5% surcharge plus VAT. What's pathetic is that a screwdriver is exempt but if the intended use is for rc helis, it is also taxed with those extra percent.

9 years ago I was way into rc helis and me and my flying buddies were always ordering stuff on almost a daily basis. One day, I found some cute little key chains which had a long red piece of cloth stating "remove before flight" stitched to them. Since I was using magnetic power switches on my helis I figured it would be cool to have those red flags hanging on the ignitor pin so I wouldn't forget to remove it before firing up the heli. Each key chain was like $7 and I ordered 3.

Imagine my face when I got a package with an invoice of $117... I opened the invoice and guess what?

"classified as aeronautics material, 50% surcharge. Due to lack of invoice, estimated base value of goods was $40 plus VAT plus $7.5 shipping costs. Have a nice day "

Sooo... It doesn't matter how bad things are... There is always someone that managed to do worse (me) lol.

Now, I'm really torn... You & Q (who rightly pushed to get the e-cig reference removed from the description) are the best..I sort of feel guilty thinking evil thoughts... Sigh. Somehow my number always comes up in situations like this. I'm a software developer's dream tester and IT's nightmare - if anyone can get funky results, it's me. I have a long track record of making them pull out their hair.

I'm juggling schedules so either I or my husband will be home tomorrow. Fingers crossed Q is right and it arrives before noon. I can't get out of some commitments in the afternoon. The husband can be home, but that means even more waiting for me... aak!

tchavei, are you sure you want that keychain/flashlight/tool give away with an Erlk order? I hate to image what the surcharge would be on that!

I'm bummed, but trying to keep some sense of humor. I'm about to hit end of the month crunch and month end reporting. I lost the day I had cleared the deck, so to speak, to play. sigh.

Oh I already have the Keychain and besides, Austria is part of the EU so no customs and no extra taxes. All my terror stories with local customs were all related to international (outside the EU) orders. Specially the ones from the US... They are always taxing those. That's why I avoid ordering from the US like the plague... Too much hassle

so, let me ask this... how is it if it's laid on it's side for a bit? or happens to fall over, or leaned for extended periods of time? develop leaks easily?

Just wondering if this is something I can take to work with me, or if I should stick to the silo/nauti at work and leave this for home vaping....

I am in AWE of the Sig 100W! I built a 26g dual coil measuring at .4 ohms on the Magma. Wicked with Rayon, dripping 100%VG juice and firing at 30 watts. I cannot give this beast enough juice... 10 drops, 2 - 3 hits later.. gone! 10 more drops.. gone! Rinse, repeat.. Ridiculous!!

How the hell do y'all use this thing?!

I haven't had any issues laying on side, juggernaut. It could leak if something is off on your build, but it would do so regardless of it being vertical or horizontal in that case
