Can anyone give a concise rundown on the major differences between the Erlk and ErlP that actually matter? I've been bitten by the bug and want to get into an rta as an upgrade from my nautilus. There's probably a solid break down already in thread, but 500+ pages is an awful lot of reading. If the Erlk is really worth the extra dough, then cool - but if not then I can put the extra towards a new mod as well..

From an ideological perspective, I'm just against clones so that's out of the question.

The diferences are merely visual like the the finish and small things like the locking top at 45 degree (which isn't so on the erlprinz) or lack of serial number. I don't regret buying the erlprinz over the erlkoenigin. Finances also come in play.

Don't listen to me wait for others to chip in as they know more about these than I do but I'll share with you what I know.

I own the Erlkoeniging not the prinz but from what people say the prinz performs amazing too but the machining is not where the koeniging is by a langslide. I saw some pics of the prinz and you can tell it's not as high quality as the koenigin is.

If you want an upgrade from the nautulis I would say get a prinz as it will perform a million times better than your nautulis and if you like it take the beating and get a koenigin.

I vaped kayfuns for the longest time and just could not get myself to spend that much money on a RTA but now that I have mine (for a day lol) I love it even more than my kayfuns.

I picked up an Erlprinz with high expectations. Since I didn't know how well I'd like it, I didn't want to drop that much for an Erlkönigin. The plan was to upgrade to an ErlK if the ErlP was treating me right.

Well, the ErlP treats me just fine, my favorite atomizer at the moment. It even unseated my favorite of all time, my beloved Magma. However, I've really no urge to pick up the Erlkönigin quite yet - the ErlP is performing well, IMO, no reason to upgrade other than aesthetics.

Yeah, there is that. The Erlprinz has some rough machining here and there, but not quite that poor. I have both an Erlkönigin clone and the Erlprinz, and the ErlP has better machining. Not great, but better than cheap clones.

I'll may upgrade to an Erlkönigin at some point, but at the moment I'm exploring some other options. Ordered a Lemo RTA, kinda like a Kayfun on steroids. Top to bottom, a little over 2mm wide airflow with no choke points, and the addition of post holes. Another option I'm thinking about is the Billow RTA.

Agreed, had switched back to my silo yesterday, switched back about an hour ago. Yeah, I need a real deal erl in a big way, but the VS-RDNA40 will be first. Then the Erl.

Brass 510 very bad IMO so be careful with it.

Most 510's are brass because of conductivity. I just placed an order for one because I think 4 weeks was enough to give my local shop a chance to get them. VS can repair them but I think I'll just replace it with a VT 510 if (when?) it fails.

Good call. It looks and vapes nice and I like the new magnet for the door but aside from brass 510 or not if this is your first dna40 enjoy that nickel wire LOL. Imagine the biggest struggle you ever experienced in vaping x1000000000 that will about cover the pain you will have building with nickel.

I'll have a erlk one day if not just for the serial number. However first I want to build a mini hana dna 40... Well not exactly hana... Better than a hana and then I still want to see what the new kf is all about and etc
