Just for record since there is a lot of tank talk. I am still using the original poly tank that came with my Erlkoenigin in August., and I use it daily. I have run all sorts of different juices through it and it is still perfect. I know when I was originally thinking of getting the Erl I was worried about the tank, but for me the worries were unfounded. I have the stainless tank if I need it, but don't use it often as I prefer to visually see my juice level.

Except for clicking pics I've never used mine's as well, the -poly- metal tanks I mean.

All my ErlKs & ErlPs are with their polys since they entered my life ~ and that's a long time ago like you.

I bought a mini kit quite a while back but have yet to use it. I'm assuming it's the same material as the standard tank so... (see link).

Ahh i see. Not to worry then!
I guess i was just a Lil confused as i was under the impression the poly tanks were made out of a different material to the 'normal poly tanks'.
It's not a worry or anything just like to be sure just in case that's all.
Yet to find a mini erlk kit in the UK other than the abroad sites, as the UK sites and intaste you have to buy the big set and then the mini tank...

Qorax how long did it take you to get you're liquids from kts? Even though they are in Europe every site i checked is giving very long dates...bit confused as I'm within Europe. Curious to see how long it took you.

You guys are so lucky in the US e liquids are so cheapp!
Just checked nikoticket site and I'd be smoking premium liquids every single day not worrying about money. For example 15ml of nikoticket is £9. Around $16. Just the fact you can get 60ml for $31 delivered is just pure jealousy! Lucky you guys eh!

I think you are talking about getting a nano Erlkoenigin without having to buy the full sized Erlkonigin and the nano kit. Originally Erlkoenigin only offered it that way. Being able to buy a complete nano is fairly new. I would just order from Erlkoenigin direct the other sites just haven't gotten any. If you really want a UK dealer call VaperCaper and they can probably get one.

Ok, I'm losing my mind here.

As you know, with the erlk's deck you have to make a right hand (clockwise) coil. How do you do a perfect spaced coil? Left hand screws are hard to find and the other methods like pull-push aren't that perfect.

It can't be that hard right?

There must be someone out there that is as OCD as me no?

Thx

Interested to hear what others say. I just wrap on a mini screwdriver and push it together some. Back when I wanted a tighter coil I would dry burn and squeeze it a few times with some mini needle nose type pliers. Not a very OCD method though. Like you said I make my leads so they will wrap righty tighty on the screws.

Well in 2014 it was easy... Pre burn, Wrap tight, ceramic tweezers and burn again and voila, a perfect full contact coil.

2015... Spaced coils, ni wire... Arg...

I found a guy on another forum that did a "nicoiler" that seems to work great but to reproduce his tool I would need to do some creative milling as I don't have the proper tools to do it... Well, I do have the proper tools but there are in the basement packed in boxes... Long story. Not going that route :)

I can't really find any good left hand screws that don't cost upwards of $15 each!! And I really liked the screw method for my Lemo.

I've resorted to making non-spaced coil on a drill bit and then pulling it apart and adjusting with a fine flat head screw driver. Not perfect (and my OCD sometimes drives me a bit nuts with it) but it seems to work well enough.

It took a while, I believe about three weeks.

Would I be missing out on much by ordering an Erlprinz instead of the Erlkonigin?

In my opinion, and I have had both, nothing but bragging rights. The Erlk does have a finish that is unrivaled, so if things like this are important to you (they are to me) the extras 100 May be worth it. I actually thought the Erlp had an easier draw, which I preffered. So awesome he came out with an affordable option.

The draw is what's... drawing me to the Erlprinz instead. The finish matters to a degree which is why I'm leaving clones behind. Don't get me wrong, I have a few and some are amazing (Aqua V2 OTM I'm looking at you) but most of the ones I bought there is a clear lack of polish. They perform well enough but I think I'd rather save up and buy less attys but have much better quality.
