So, I don't think much [new] changes are going to come on the Erlk front.


While I "liked" your post for the information. I do wish they would continue to evolve. I want good things for them, and for us.:)

hmm...been wondering if that was the reason I still have not gotten any resolution to my little lost shipment problem...they really need to hire a customer service rep to take care of correspondence and customer issues, sales cycle quality control, etc.

I got a message on Apr. 7th that DHL had been called, nothing since, not even a courtesy update. Maybe I'm too impatient?

Nah, Not too impatient...

Just expecting goods in return of your hard earned cash.

Strike 4, not looking good for an erl in my book... so sad.

resolving a lost package claim might take time but there's no reason why dhl won't give a status report to YOU if you call them ;)

I did call them several times. While DHL did not leave me with the best impression (I had to stay on them), they did research the problem and did a search of several possible locations. They finally declared the package lost and case closed. Whether or not they notified i2r as they said they would I can not say. They informed me that i2r should contact DHL and I should contact i2r for any further resolution.

like ups and fedex there should be some basic insurance included - it's possible that you can't start a claim but they should be able to find out if the vendor did

As we get closer to the actual event, we're seeing that 24 hours may be an optimistic, if not unreasonable guestimate. Better plan on 48 hours. The database import alone is going to take around 12 hours (if nothing goes wrong with it).

We'll be making an announcement when we have a better idea with links to keep tabs on the progress.

so y'all don't go crazy when ecf disappears! :D

I donno... looking like hobby modders with good imagination going big-time without the commitment to go beyond hobby. It's tough to keep up a solid enough profit stream to move beyond hobby in this business.

Just speculation.

I donno either. I suspect they may be overwhelmed with growth pains. Creating a superb product requires a lot of imagination, talent, skill and hard work. The product will virtually sell itself. Trouble is, at that point the company is no longer just a bunch of designer/builders, it becomes a sales organization which requires a completely different skill set and a whole new set of design problems.

Does this mean I should wait awhile to buy the accessories I want?

If the zip code on my package had been for Philadelphia PA rather than Philadelphia NY (and auto-fill error?) none of this would have happened. I corrected the problem with DHL very quickly, but the package was lost after that point and before it could be relabeled. I don't hold i2r responsible for that. I am following the normal process order. My only beef with i2r has been the difficulty of communication and timely response. This in no way diminishes my opinion about the product.

I will order from Intaste next time (FedEx) or maybe a good company in the US will stock the entire product line?

The lack of communication was concerning. I don't see the things I want at intaste or anywhere else I've looked, so far.

I want a nano kit, SS tank and 1 or 2 drip tips.

I can't order now, Tony. Vape budget for April is used up. I bought a ton of NT juice due to the 50% off sale. I probably bought 3 months worth. And my budget has been severely impacted by medical bills that will take several months to recover from.

7 months ago while I was having a beef about my key chain, there was already a communication problem and I speak German. If it hadn't been for qorax intervening, it probably wouldn't be solved.

Look, I don't buy all this growing pain story.

Yesterday I got a titanium reel from a vendor in Germany that must be one of the biggest wire suppliers to Vapers here in Europe. He barely offers anything else than wires and wicks nowadays. I expect he has a massive traffic and it's basically a one man business.

Yet, yesterday I had a question so I sent the man an email to which I got an reply 7 minutes later beginning with "Sorry I couldn't answer immediately"

Take stealthvape in the UK for example, they got flooded with hardened nickel wire requests a few months ago and even though they have machines reeling the wires, it would take them almost day and night reeling to fulfill requests yet I never had to wait more than 12 hours for a reply regarding anything.

And they also not as big as you might think.

Odd just looked at intaste. They had the things you listed. I went to the intaste english version and the rebuildable tab,then erlkonigin tab. Screen shot.

Well if you can't, it's not a choice anymore. Get them when you can. :)

I have contacted Peter (and Christina too this time) about it. If I don't hear anything soon I will touchbase with the owner of i2r (Gunther).

This is becoming ridiculous :(

I have received an email today stating that on Monday (!) I can expect contact to discuss/resolve this issue. We'll see.

It would be good to see i2r correct its salesmanship problems. Nothing kills a great product and company faster than poor salesmanship. Even if they decide to concentrate solely on the dealer channel it won't solve their problems. They need to remember that dealers are also customers who have even more at stake.
