Mine is 72mm tall and has a 18650 fitted

efcaeba97ebef6cf0b036fcd929404c8.jpg

Almost smaller than an espresso cup ☕

I never seen a 18650 mod under 72mm but you never know. The cloupor mini is around 75mm I believe.

I've always ran my evic supreme in 18350 mode because of the size and it still is almost twice the size of a mini hana.

There are 2 reasons for why I prefer "box" mods.
One, they're harder for me to knock over than a tube. (Yes I am that much of a klutz!)
Two, more comfortable for me to hold. My hands just hate thin/small round things haha.

I do love the sleek look of a good tube mod, but they're just not as practical for me personally.

Some days I get jealous of you guys with hands that are large enough to be comfortable with a box mod, there are many nice devices out there. Unfortunately I have baby hands and they aren't a good fit for me (even a mini REO woodie which I subsequently sold). My hand can curl up around a tube all day. The good/bad news is there aren't so many shiny regulated tubes so I can focus on atty's.. Have Erlk & nano, waiting for GEM!

Haha! Large hands have drawbacks too. Try needing an extra 4-5 grips wrapped on a racquet handle to be thick enough to feel comfortable!
And washing the insides of glasses/mugs etc with a dish-cloth, ugh! x_X

Waiting on the Gem too, and another atty that releases the same week. If they both end up as potential F5 buying wars I may end up with neither though. lol

People still sell / buy mech mods? Really?

I'm really curious.... Why?

Honestly, I like both. They each have their advantages. Ask me in the morning which I prefer and I might say regulated. Ask me again later, and I might say mechs, lol!

I do think it wouldn't be a bad idea for me to get a few more mechs just in case the FDA squashes us. Of course I could always build one anytime out of wood with a mosfet.

I also find larger mods easier for me to hold. It took me forever to adjust to that first istick (the 20W). I kept changing my power levels accidentally. It was my beater mod for barn work, etc, but I got the 50W, and gave the 20W to a friend who loved it.

I have very large hands for a small woman. I have to buy mens' gloves (size L).

I sold my Reo mini because it was too small for me.

I have a mini Nemi clone on the way to see if I can deal with a small mech. If I don't get on with it, I will know that maybe I will prefer something boxy for a Flash e vs or the Gus Ailous-t (sp) I want. Maybe a Gizmo would be better for me. I have my Spheroid on an istick 50W, lol! I may be the only person who has put those two together. They are a nice looking match though and the istick has two deep air channels to give me a very nice draw on the Spheroid.

Funny - I'm 6' 7" with large hands for sure, and I like carrying my Provari in 18490 mode over my rDNA 40 all the time. Just all in preference I guess. Funny that I prefer a sleek, smaller mod but have the hands for much larger. Maybe it's "pocketability" and ability to throw the whole device in a sleeve that I really prefer?

In fact I should at least try to use that rDNA sometimes to make myself feel like I didn't throw away money when I got it!

LOL. My fist fits inside a standard coffee mug. Upside of baby hands.. fishing out parts dropped into the garbage disposal that you forgot to cover!

Too bad you're in Aus., husband is a master racquet technician and could do a nice build up on your grip!

I probably won't have much of a chance on the GEM. 4/30 is going to be a baaad day for me, major work changes on 5/1 yet to be announced and I'll be knee deep in the planning. May is going to be a very busy month. If I miss getting the GEM, plan B is getting another Erlk.

I, or maybe another member here could probably order it for you. I wouldn't mind, really even though I'm not planning to get one myself. If its like the Chalice 3 went though, I can't gaurantee I could get you one, but I would be willing to try. I'm retired now so getting up in the middle of the night wouldn't be a big deal. Someone would need to clue me in on what sites will be selling it so I have accounts registered and know what time(s) they will be up for sale.

We don't even know what site will have them yet, but I'm going to assume it'll be the same vendors that carry his other products.

If he's going regional like on the Chalicce 3 preorders, then US peeps won't be able to get it off the MarkBugs site.

In the US it'll be VapingArt and ElectronicStix.

Im. So. Excited.

dems, thanks for the heads up. I got my WAEII from ElectronicStix so the account is set and ready to roll.

Roxy, thanks for the offer. Knowing what's coming plus regular end of the month work means I may still be awake at F5 time and ready for a break. The roller coaster starts in a week. I don't know how wild the ride will be, but it should be a fun one. I'd be disappointed not to get a GEM after the months of anticipation, but I also know the chances aren't that good anyway. The only thing I regularly win is the Jury Duty lottery.. I've been called up 9 times, including once by the Feds. LOL.

Those are useful sized hands! Haha! :D

Nice. I had a racquet professionally done once, then shattered it a month later... damn squash and those walls! lol

2nd week of May now for the Gem, hopefully things have quitened down for you by then. :)

Well, I ordered another Erlk. I've been having a lot of success with other units, I think I'm just getting better with building and wicking and I see no reason to let this one beat me. Qorax's vid will be memorized.

I'm also making a small intaste purchase seperate. Any spares that would be a good idea to grab other than the larger air flow piece?
