That was my guess on your accent, which I love by the way . For some reason, I'm fascinated with other peoples' accents.

The previous owner of one of my rescue parrots was Bosnian, and its fun having a bird with an accent different from mine. I'll have a group of friends over, the bird speaks, and everyone sits up, looking at each other.

So i need some advice on building the erlk. I have been getting pretty muted flavor- and i know its user error. What are some of the best builds (kanthal gauge, inner diameter, and number of wraps) for flavor in this rta? Is it possible that my wicking is creating the lack of flavor? particularly i'm talking about wakonda, but it happened with strawnilla too. I know the potential of these flavors, and I'm not seeing it with my builds. Your help is greatly appreciated like always.

ErlK / ErlP is a flavour atty. You should thus be able to get supreme flavor from any build that you throw into this RTA. Off course there's a learning curve into rebuilding it, the right / optimal way.

I have thrown in two easy & simple setup builds (also noob friendly) in my both reviews. Kindly have a look there and try and replicate them. You should have success!

My personal first theory without seeing your particular build is likely a little too much cotton/rayon right at the point where the juice channels head downward. Try to envision exactly where the chimney will come to when it's placed on there (someone had drawn a picture of it somewhere in this thread in the past). You don't want it too packed at that point so as to not allow proper flow/wicking.

The other theory could be too much/too little wick inside the coil itself. Too much would choke the coil of liquid and too little would scortch a bit of the juice.

You might already know some of what I said (especially the coil part) but just giving you my theories.

On another note - I too am puffing on Wakonda at this very moment. Good stuff. I'm using a different atty at this moment, but like Q said - the Erl is a flavor machine for sure.

Erlkonigin is made for flavour. Check Qorax youtubes, personally I prefer his second, "bow tie", method. Super easy to build. And make sure that AFC at the bottom is closed every time you fill/refill the tank.

I'm using Kanthal 28 GA, 6-7 wraps ø2.5 mm single coil (~1.3 ohm) with KGD cotton.
