My poor kayfun V4. It's got to be jealous, sitting on the shelf so long, unused and unloved.
Every draw on my ErlK's = perfection.
1 authentic and 3 clones - can enjoy a variety of my DIY at 1 sitting.

My next purchase will be accessories for my Erlk, but after that I think I need to stop for awhile. I have quite a few tanks right now, and I like all of them a lot, so I'm not wanting to give any up. I have 3 Chinese authentics on the way as it is. One I ordered last month, and two this month. So if I like all 3 of those, yikes, lol!
The one I ordered from China last month just got here. Haven't cleaned or built it yet, but the machining is very good. Its an hcigar HC Plus, an original design. I couldn't find anyone in the US carrying it, but there were two places in Canada and at least one in Europe. I ordered from Health Cabin in China due to shipping costs.
I did see the other HCigar original atty at VapeNW last night though. I'm not sure what differences there are between them. I'll compare later. I'm happy to see more original designs coming from China that aren't dual coil RDA types.

@qorax, Thank you so much for your Erlk video! Just watched it, finally . My key learning wasn't on wicking (your photos and those of other folks handled that), but was on trapping the legs - with which I struggle mightily. Ten seconds and one move later, I now know what to do. The angels are singing!

I need to ask what's hard about it to try to help. For whatever reason, its like the Erlk was made for me, and its always been one of my easiest. Is it because I wrap my coils like a lefthanded person, or something else?

It was wrapping counterclockwise around the screw and holding the excess wire over the drill bit to keep it taut that were my "ah ha" moments ... Happy Tweety!

. I told him to try going clockwise. Interestingly, I usually do go counterclockwise. I'm a weirdo.

I do think it a bit strange that they palm you off with a crappy plastic tank though. Got a bit of a cheek for a hundred quid. Is there a global glass shortage or something ?. If i want a steel tank it's an additional £22 and if a want a glass one it's an extra £16. For the price you'd expect a glass tank as standard, no question. And why is it 21mm in diameter ?. What's that all about ?. Right !, obviously it fits all the 21mm mods out there which are so popular, silly me. And there's me thinking it's diameter is stoopid !. Although, i could always cough up even more money for the extra mil diameter. Yeah, nice touch, classy !.

Think about it. Everything about this says quality, then they pack a plastic tank in the kit !?. If the default kit had a glass tank i'd be buying one of these right this minute, but obviously i'm being swindled, so they can keep it.

Anyway that's not the point.
The point is why ?. And there really is no explaining it, is there !.
As i said, everything about this tank says quality. So why ?, what were they thinking ?. They just gave up at the last hurdle and just went home. Maybe it should be wood eh ?. Might as well be.
If the glass is so cheap then why not include it with the kit ?.
I made my point so let it go.
