I don't rebuild yet..so i guess i have to learn if i want the rba..

I will try reading more on the sigelei ;)
For the vapor willing to learn about RBAs, I've collected a lot of resource information in my blog article, "Advice and Tips for Vapors Looking to Try Their First RBA." I suggest bookmarking it and be prepared to spend some time researching as there is a LOT of info to go through.

Only been here a few days and I have certainly seen lots of questions repeated on the new members forum, but what do you expect? We have to post 5 times on there before posting on other threads! Right? Right! I don't feel that this thread is condescending in the least. However, I have been a noob for a lot of different things and I think my questions are funny too! Looking back at what I did two months ago, I still laugh at myself. I laugh at a lot of other people too, but in a very nice, non condescending way. No one told me to clean my equipment. No one told me to refill when half full. No one told me lots of things that I now know. In three months I might just have a better handle on what I DON'T know.

I have learned to search for my answers and it has saved a lot of time. Yet, I enjoy reading the threads so I do that as well, even if I have no idea what I am reading. I have stopped, googled or searched the forum for info when I find something I don't understand and I am actually learning! I still do not understand the whole ohm, volt, watt thing. I may be electrically challenged. Have a VV coming in the mail, so I will have to learn. Looking forward to it, actually. I think the hands on approach is my best learning method (at least I hope so).

On a more humorous note:

Will vaping a fruity flavor make bees sting me?
Is there a vapor that will make mosquitos go away?
Will vaping make my nails grow (actually, the nails on my right hand are growing beautifully for the first time in years, so maybe, yeah, all the chemicals in cigs were ruining my nails?)

what are the best pickups for a Strat?

Is an alder body or an ash body best?

Paul Reed Smith 59/09 (in a PRS) ;)
D'addario exp 0.12's
Neither

I kid, I kid. I love strats, I had a 97 Loanstar (American) and a 97 PRS custom 24 that were both taken from me when my house for robbed a couple weeks ago. :( Second time my PRS has been stolen.

The good news is that I didn't turn back to the stinkies to help me get through it so I think I'm in the clear!

Being a noob my self, I like this thread :)
I had a HUGE advantage when I started vaping, RC cars has been a hobby of mine for 30 years. So all the batteries, multi meters, charging, voltage control, yada yada yada, is well know and understood for me.
What I didn't know, I knew to search for first, not clog the board with "Ultra noob" threads.
That said, from what I have been seeing here, you all do a good job helping us noobs out without condescending or flaming to much at all. Which it good, 'cus this is one of the best places to learn about vaping.

When I joined, I found that stickies are my friends...

OMG THIS!!
after the 4644777 thread about credit card fraud i stopped feeling sorry for the dummies who used their debit card AFTER getting fraudulent activity. I don't mean the ones who got hacked once and learned their lesson..
the online shopping 101 sticky.. it's there for a reason.

Baditude.. thank you for the link about RBAs :) i wonder if they sell patience on FT?

Pretty condescending thread, some of us ARE new to both vaping and the technology involved.
I have to agree.

As a relatively new member, I looked at that list of questions (and the subsequent replies with additional questions) and the only thing I kept thinking to myself was, "there are no stupid questions ...except for, apparently, these".

As it has matured, this thread has shown to have zero content value beyond the obvious humor - it was posted as humor, correct? - that some people apparently find in openly mocking the lack of knowledge and inexperience of others.

Anybody who doesn't find this thread condescending needs to look up the definition of 'condescending'.

Just my :2c:

You new vapors are of us now. Vaping knowledge moves blindingly fast, so fast that it is easier to remember "being there" at each of those question levels than it is to remember my last birthday.

Laughing at OURSELVES is not condescending. Grab a vape, pull up a chair, and enjoy the ride!

The OP was not being humorous.
This thread is not condensing it's just the evolution I've been through

Forgot to add one of the biggest questions..
I need a liquid that tastes like (insert your brand here)

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

I've asked my fair share of noob questions..
where it gets annoying is when a new thread is started asking the same question that's been asked and answered 2 or more times in a day.

Either the thread starter isn't taking the time to read or google.. or they think their question is somehow more important than the same question that was asked an hour earlier 3 threads down.
