Perhaps the bigger point I'm driving at is that we as a community don't get so sucked into believing our self-generated propaganda that we lose our objectivity. There is nothing wrong with being passionate about our position in this fight, but resistance requires rational, objective thought about how we go about the business of trying to put a stop to the insanity that is the opposition to vaping.
Ask any parent what it's like trying to negotiate with an upset 2 year-old. It can't be done. We can't become that 2 year-old.
Suggestion: Buy simple gear that will last indefinitely, that has little to break, and that's easy to fix if it does.Great news ALL! It has a built-in lock, but the "key" isn't unique. It's really just an Allen key, but with 5 points on it instead of 6. Should be good enough to keep small children out of it though, if that's your concern.

The notification should have stated - ACT 1235, not SB 978 as that was the Bill Before passing.
He & his wife were completely unaware of new regulation or any wrong doing, they simply ordered their usual supply from their normal vendor.
Actually he did say the notification stated act something or other and in parentheses behind it SB978.
ACT xxxx (SB978).
The conversation about the confiscation was brief, I didn't remember the act number he told me & didn’t want to guess / post something I wasn't sure of so I used the SB due to being familiar with it.
There was no mention of any fine or punishment. Just, we took your stuff becuz...

The real failure, the real stupidity, is in all these state gov'ts who sold tobacco bonds on the MSA monies; they were SO CERTAIN that the status quo would just go on and on forever; and also in our fed gov't, basing so much of the economy on tobacco taxes, that they were SO CERTAIN would go on and on forever -- they haven't learned the lesson of technology, that where there's a problem, technology can very often find a fix. They've all been blabbering for years and years and decades, stop smoking, stop smoking... but they made no plans, NOT ONE, for what would happen if we ever did. And THAT, that is just plain stupidity. What they deserve is to see all their castles in the air, based on the tobacco economy, come crashing down. Right on top of them all, taking all their jobs with it.
They made this bed. Let THEM lay in it! NOT VAPERS!
