He aint gettin’ any of my stash.

The consequences of not planning for your wife are greater than if you do. IMOYou should have him take advantage of the sale at Heartland. I got to thinking more about if my wife would make the switch to vaping. I went ahead and ordered a couple more liters. I’d also like to take my nic down from 12 to maybe 9 if I could.
I hope she does too hitt. One day she’ll get bronchitis and she will struggle to breathe. Smoking will be out of the question. She’ll go to the doc and get meds to get better. But by then she will realize smoking is gonna kill her and she wont like that thought. So she’ll settle for the next best thing. Vaping.I’ve been vaping for a little over ten years and would have thought that by now she would be more interested. No, she just keeps smoking. I know from my experience that you have to be mentally ready to make a change. I keep hoping that some day she will.
At the very least, it wont be pretty. So I've been wondering- what kind of impact will May 11 have on ECF as a business.
I do not know what percentage of members are US vs the rest of the world. Nor do I know what portion of ECF costs are covered by vendor's fees / advertising etc.
But when the US market vanishes over night (May 11), will vendors see a need to to advertise here, (or anywhere in the US)?
I don’t think anyone will know till the shtf. I’ve been hanging around here longer than I’ve been registered, so I *should* know this... but I thought Oliver is UK based. He’s been (recently) adamant that ECF will continue, no matter what happens with the US. I don’t know what % of the world’s vape market the US makes up. Things to add to the equation .... if other countries follow the US and enact bans; if China can’t deliver products due to shippers or $ processors shutting them out (leaving bitcoin and carrier pigeons????); or, if China stops mass production because of lack of open markets.... Too many variables. So I've been wondering- what kind of impact will May 11 have on ECF as a business.

From my perspective, everyone who wasn't finished stocking in 2016 is a straggler.Dont worry about the stragglers, fence sitters, late comers and lollygaggers, theyre not your problem. At this stage its every person for themselves.

Never give up hope for her. If she was smart enough to marry you then she’s smart enough to quit smoking...some day.

Most of us quit smoking when we go from saying, “I should quit smoking”, to asking, “Do I want to live?”Well - IMHO - That really doesn't work for everyone . . . For some like "Me", Bronchitis or not - although I did cut back a little - I still kept smoking . . . Even after a Quintuple Bypass . . . Not that I am bragging or anything similar - it is somewhat embarrassing to even admit now . . . BUT - When you are addicted physically, emotionally, and mentally to the smoking habit and nicotine - it doesn't/didn't matter . . .
It's like Hittman said . . .
It took "Me" over 8 years of dual using to finally become a full time vapor (which only just happen a few months ago) . . . And - Although I am a Vapor now and plan on continuing to do so - I still consider "Myself" a "Smoker" . . . Just like an Alcoholic, will always be an Alcoholic . . . They're just NOT Drinking Today and Neither Am I "Smoking" Today . . . Just Sayin' . . .
Totally Agree - there is always a "Some Day" . . .
.
I always smoked with bronchitis or strep... I usually got both at least once a year if not more, until I quit smoking.I hope she does too hitt. Or some similar story to that.

I wonder how they are going to enforce things come May... I mean the FDA cannot visit every mom and pop shop out there. I am sure some local governments that are against vaping will take things into their own hands, but not every place will. It will be interesting (and sad) to see how it all unfolds.
Add they need a long term income solution and peace of mind. Operating an illegal vape shop does not provide that. One problem for shops is that they don't work on a day to day basis. They have to sign long leases on premises, buy stock in bulk, etc. They aren't millionaires, it's unlikely many will be willing to gamble their savings knowing they could be shut down tomorrow. The fear of enforcement is just as effective as actual enforcement.
None of that applies to black market traders.
Local law enforcement will probably be directed to take care of most of it is my guess. Police officers unfortunately seem to get the crap job of going in and ruining peoples day. That's one job I'm glad I don't have.I wonder how they are going to enforce things come May... I mean the FDA cannot visit every mom and pop shop out there.
