I've learned to pour the liquids directly from one bottle to another for mixing and decanting. You might practice by pouring vg or pg with no nic or flavor in the mix. Then pour the liquid back into the original bottle and try again. I'm glad I don't need wide mouth bottles or funnels.
The vast majority of vape gear in my local area is in cigarette stores - where you buy cigs, cigars, RYO supplies, pipe tobacco, chew, soda and lottery tickets. They were cigarette stores long before they were vape merchants. Vape gear and ejuice is just another product line to sell to keep the #s in the black and the paychecks from bouncing. Vape shops are no different. They're just boutiques.
It makes sense to me. People are going there to mainly get lottery tickets and nicotine. Vape = nicotine for most. May not sound right to hardcore vapers, but it isn't far-fetched that a leaf nicotine store would sell liquid nicotine & delivery systems.

There are people on this forum that claim to have been using Ball canning jars (with the BPA free plastic lids, not the metal ones) to store their eliquid for years.
Much wider mouth = easier to decant.
Some may say that isn't the best solution but in your situation it just very well may be.

Agreed, it isn't any more surprising than seeing vape good at truck stops or c-stores, but what is far-fetched is to call such a place a "vape shop".
I have a 60ml syringe that I use for PG/VG, and 1, 3, 5, & 10ml syringes for the nic and flavoring.
I have a 30ml syringe and some 10ml ones (all w/ .5ml markings) on the way. For now, since I still have a bit less than 1/2 liter of PG/VG/nic pre-mix left, I've just been using the two in the middle of this pic if I want to add some flavoring to that. Either way the final product goes into the 30ml 'filler bottle' on the far right. Those 30ml's last me up to at least a month, so I don't have to do it a lot.
I never make less than 200 ml in a batch. Only use I have for syringes now is refilling a pod cartridge. I seem to have lost interest in the pods.

I use a small graduated cylinder for flavors and nic. I eyeball pg/vg since I really am not picky about it being EXACTLY 50/50
Yup. A 250 ml graduated cylinder is the only measuring device I need/use to make my unflavored, vaping strength base.
I dispense flavorings by the drop, because I use very little in the way of flavorings.
