The First Coil

1.4 ohm igo-l on a vamo.

I thought this was gonna be complicated, from all the videos I've watched and all the problems I've heard people have. First attempt took 5 minutes for success. I did watch many videos on youtube before I got the thing so I was already how to do it. I could get used to this, next up is an aga mesh ss wick, I;m guessing it's not as easy but I will find out it's in the mail.

I thought it would be harder than it was my first go around. Like you I had watched videos over and over, but when it came down to building my first one it wasn't difficult at all. Now, I love building them, from the wick to the wraps, it's a lot of fun IMO. I could sit for hours and make different builds lol

Yeah It's kinda fun after I built it I wanted to take it apart and build another one lol

I also heard the top cap was loose on the igo but mine is extremely tight. It's hard to push it all the way down, I feel like I'm going to mess up my threads by pushing.

LOL. My first attempt didn't even get to see juice. It was a stainless and it was a dud from the start. Thank goodness for Youtube.
Now I got lots of supplies and ready to try it all over again.

Silica wicks are easy to wrap, ss is where the problems start happening.

I wrapped my first coil today on my brand new Igo-L. I did the first one, checked it out a bit then ripped it out and wrapped another one. It is fun, and cheap enough to change coils pretty often.

I have kanthal but had to order wick from another vender, so I couldn't take it apart and make another one, I most likely would have tho, if I had wick.

Congratulations! It feels really great to get your first coil going! My first was about a month ago on a dripping atomizer, too.

eHuman has a great blog post that will give you step-by-step instructions on setting up the AGA-T when you get it. It helped me to make a great vaping wick and coil on my first try.
