Sorry I haven't been on - but with BratFest - aww - who has time to write a review when there's live music, good food, and nice, sunshiney weather?

Well, then....my first thoughts....

It's a solid unit - utterly rock-steady. Feels good in the hand. Size-wise.....its about 2x the width of the stick, and a bit longer. The activation button is on the top of the unit, right next to the atty. The activation button is smallish, but has a nice, easy action, and fires every time I press it. No uncertain button here!

The atty connection is fully sealed. No juice is getting inside this baby. The connector is firm, with no play or movement. The only thing I don't like so far is there is no well.....so when the atty leaks - and all attys leak - the juice runs down the outside of the unit. The Prodigy is feeling some hope due to this :D

Along the side of the unit are 3 ports - the first port is the variable voltage switch - I believe the different voltages are 5, 4.7, 4.2 and 3.7.

The second port is the charging access, and the port is compatible with the charging port on the Stick....and, like the stick, you can charge the unit and vape at the same time.

Lastly there's a button labeled test. This lights up the 4 LED's that are on the bottom of the unit. The lights tell you how much power is left in the battery.

The battery is not removable, unless you deconstruct the unit. I do believe that Nuck will be offering battery-changing services. But, I am assured that he's used a good, solid, dependable battery for the units, that should last a good, long time.

I hold the unit sideways in my hand, with the atty and the activation button parallel to each other. This way, if juice does leak out, I'm not running it down the button, into the voltage switch, etc..... That took a bit of getting used to, as the natural way to hold it would be with the button under the atty.....I hear a nya, nya coming from the Prodigy..

It hits like any device hits at 5v and 3.7. The voltages are accurate to what I'm used to. At 5v, the battery will last the day. I haven't run it exclusively at 3.7 yet to see what longevity is at that, because I'm just too in love with my 5v devices.

So far, I've swapped out between Prodigy and FP, depending on battery life and what I want to feel in my hand. I don't know about a video review, I'm thinking about it, but haven't made up my mind yet if I wanna dig out the cam. We'll see how bored I get tomorrow :D

Do I recommend the FP yet, with it's high price point? (199+shipping from Canada) It would be a hesitant yes, I think. I'll know more as I play with the unit.

But............it's SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!
